Hello ITers, i´m new to this forum but i´ve been keeping keeping track with IT(well most of it, i think).
And something i have had in my mind for a while is:
When they release the IT dlc, How do you think bioware will explain the fact that it took them a year or more to release the real ending?

Hello! I don't know why they would have done that, but in my opinion, Bioware may have tried this to "pioneer" a new type of game. They want "Speculation for Everyone". They did want players to hold on to their copies of the game forever.

I counted the pages we debated wil Xil, and we went up 22 pages. I don't know if that's good or bad. Yet I have to say Xil did sound Indoctrinated a bit. "It looks pretty...calm and peace, but...it's not right. It's all just an illusion."

Oh and did anyone notice when you got Leviathan. When you talk to EDI she says some intersting things. About the Normandy needing a tune up before the year is over, and some Interesting stuff about Leviathan.

Also I find it funny that Traynor felt sorry for the Reapers, but after what happened on Thessia she was on borad to kill all reapers.

so you think the new type of gaming they were trying to "piooner" was release imcomplete game>let the speculation flow>release IT>people will love them again and forgive the first ending
and if that is the case do you think IT will be free or they will charge us $10

My guess:

Bioware didn't expect that SO few wouldn't get it, didn't want to blow the ending for anyone who hadn't played, were shocked at the level of rage, hunkered down, put out the joke that is the EC, and is quietly working on something amazing.


They said they didn't want to be prescriptive. They left things open. Then they put out the monologue + photo slide and were very prescriptive and closed. Which means to me that their is a right interpretation. It'll be the one with the actual real dlc/expansion. The one they didn't have time to make before launch.

yeah i´m sure there will be a lot of It haters raging, but because It wal planned since the start and had alot of time to polished it, i think it will be good enough to satisfy some of them and acept it as the real ending

I think the IT DLC would be awesomely trollish if control and synthesis saves launch at a weapon choice screen. Whatever weapon you choose Shep blows his brains out with it. Kidding of course.

Oh, I think that some people will be mad. Bioware messed up with the original endings, and the EC was to stop the backlash. They're original plan may be different than the plan that they have now. I am unsure on how they could release a DLC specifically for IT. There are different theories on this. One is that all the DLC's together will help Shepard wake up from the Hallucination and keep up the fight. Another is that the DLC's would eventually have Shepard achieve victory through refuse. There could even be a post-ending DLC ment f if you pick destroy. Sadly, they are a company, and charging for it is not out of the question.

Nah, i believe the new game if a prequel, and they´ll use the IT to continue the war with the reapers for one or more games
