@spotless I agree prequels make sense for some games like MGS but not ME it just wouldn't make sense to me.

yeah, i dont want a prequel either, but remember that gaming is an industry and it isn´t always about making a good story tha fits the franchise, sometimes it´s just about making money:devil:

I think thst might be better later as a spinoff or later on. I think a sequel other than IT needs to be far far down the line.

IT Expansion/DLC idea:

Shepard wakes up or is saved with sufficient assets. Get to the crucible however.
The crucible only disables Reaper shields, allowing the fleets enough of a chance they drive the Reapers from Sol system, this taking back Earth.

Me4: Finish off the Reapers while keeping the Leviathan from rising, all while not knowing who is an agent for who. There's a few games worthof material there.

Will you get to choose between working for Harbinger or Leviathan?

@Fur28 Yeah but I think EA would rather continue Shepard's story then make prequels because more Shepard = more money.

I don't mind playing as Shepard. People can bi*** about playing a new hero, but Shepard started this war, it's only fiting the he, or she will end it. Besides Anderson is old, and still fighting like a young soldier, so ya. Also Shepard is just 30 years old ( minus the two year death which would be 32) and Anderson is like 54 or 55. Ya I think we can still play as Shepard, or do what they did in Dragon age awakening.

Import you grey warden, or create a new character. It's a win win, only you play as Shepard.

@Master Blaster I think its stupid when people say oh we don't need another game with Shepard BS they know as soon as Shepard is confirmed to be in the next game they won't think twice and buy the game in a heartbeat.

I'm pretty sure that shep's gonna be dead either way if s/he isn't brought to a hospital immediately. As a matter of fact, I think that if Shep survives the war, then s/he would probably become an admiral, meaning s/he wouldn't take part in any heavy fighting. S/he'd only be commandeering ships around.

I agree home. Shepard is the face of Bioware, and even EA.

EA knows that with cheif coming back, they need the galaxys greatest hero again.

Shepard still wants to fight. He/she tells Coates that he/she is just a soldier. Shepard also tells this to Vega in Purgatory. I don't think Shepard would be happy to sit back and be an admiral.

That has nothing to do with it. Shepard is not essential to the ME universe as a whole, only to the trilogy.
Having the same character reappear again and again would in the long run diminish the quality of the franchise as a whole, because you'd always have to make some kinda asspull to have an even bigger enemy to defeat.

Shepard's done enough. Let him/her rest, for god's sake.

As I said Estebauns that doesn't mean we won't play Shepard.

Besides Shepard hasn't even been promoted for all the BS he/she has done, and besides Commander Shepard sounds perfect.

Besides if they make Shepard a high ranked person it doesn't fit well at all. Also Anderson goes out into battle, so Shepard can do the same.

We plan what's going to happen, and got out there and lead.

It gives the men, and woman hope to see Shepard on the field instead of back at the base just doing nothing.

Its a problem that's seemingly unique to me.  I'll randomly drop out of games, or if I'm hosting I'll randomly drop the entire team.  Its very frustrating, and likely caused by my soon to be former internet provider.

I could trust that kinda behaviour to a renegade Shepard, but not to a paragon.
As s/he said: "I'm a soldier. And I wanted to ecome the best damn soldier I could ever be. That's why I joined N7."

As you said, Shepard is a soldier. What does a soldier get when he's distinguished himself? He gets promoted. And since he's a normal soldier, he'd most likely accept. He wouldn't say no and continue doing what he thinks is best. He does that what his superiors think is best, because he is a normal soldier, and the most distinguishing part of a real soldier is to follow orders. That means, that if his superiors think he'd be of most use as an admiral, then he'll become one.

Shepard wants to be the best damn soldier s/he could ever be. It doesn't get any better than admiral.
