Or how about we play as the child of Shepard if we have an LI.

If you have a gay, or lesbin LI, then you adopt a child that your Shepard took in as his/her own.

Well except Liara she can have children with male, or female.

If your LI was male, then your female Shepard gives birth to a child.

If you have LI that is female, then they give birth to a child.

You choose the gender of the child, and custom the child.

Or if your Shepard didn't romance anyone, then Shepard trains a child that's parents were killed by The Reapers.

As I said Estebauns that doesn't mean we won't play Shepard.

Besides Shepard hasn't even been promoted for all the BS he/she has done, and besides Commander Shepard sounds perfect.

Besides if they make Shepard a high ranked person it doesn't fit well at all. Also Anderson goes out into battle, so Shepard can do the same.

We plan what's going to happen, and got out there and lead.

It gives the men, and woman hope to see Shepard on the field instead of back at the base just doing nothing.

Look, Shepard is a bigger symbol as an admiral because s/he gets much more coverage as an admiral than as a simple LC. More people will see him/her, and s/he'll be able to do so much more good as an admiral than as a simple soldier. 

The only reason Anderson had to fight was because he had no choice. for god's sake, there was a damn husk around every corner, where he was during the invasion.

Who cares if "Admiral Shepard" doesn't sound right? You don't choose your rank based on how it sound like. If so, then my sister would still be "lietenant Ambjoernsen" instead of "Primary lietenant Ambjoernsen."

Also, if the reapers are defeated, then there wouldn't be any need for Shepard on the front lines either way. There'd be no enemies to fight.

Yes, Master chief is back. IN HIS LAST GAME.

There's a reason the motto is "finish the fight."
Master Chief's story is most likely coming to an end in the last part of his story. He will defeat the bad guys, and that's it.

If the IT holds true, then Shepard defeats the reapers, and his/her story would end. It's over. Fertig. Finito.

I hope you know I'm talking about after the reaper war.

I got my havoc, volus adept, and ghost in PSPs.

So does Shepard he/she as no chocie either Estebauns. Also Shepard has never been promoted at all. No matter how hard Shepard trys he/she will always be Commander Shepard.

We should have been promoted when we saved the galaxy in ME1.
We should have been promoted when we sent the Collectors to hell in ME2.

Did we no. Hell in ME3 they could have promoted Shepard to General, or Admiral that would have put moral up very high because you can get more colonist that are humans to follow an Admiral, than a Commander. Either way I don't care. I would like to end it with Shepard, but I wouldn't mind playing as the child of Shepard.

Then you blew up the alpha relay and killed hundreds of thousand of batarians. It would not be a smart move to promote you for that..even though it was the only way.

Well Home depends on how BIG the dlc is. Yes IT does deserve more game time, but just finishing the Reapers is good enough.

I agree with Spot. It's Shepard's fight, so it's only right for him/her to end it, then after that I don't mind Shepard being the new Anderson in the next ME game.

Ok, let me tell you this:

In ME1, Shepard is not a part of the alliance after becoming a spectre, ok? There's no way s/he could become promoted if s/he wasn't under alliance control.

In ME2, Shepard works with a f*cking terrorist organization, ok? You don't get promoted for conspiring with terrorists. Also, Shepard wasn't part of the alliance in that game. Who the hell could promote him/her if s/he wasn't under any military control?

In ME3, Shepard is brought to court for committing racial genocide on par with the actions of n@zi Germany. You're essentially tried as a war criminal. Do people promote war criminals? NO.

Later on, Shepard rejoins the Alliance officially, acting as a member of that organization. Therefore, it's now possible to promote him/her again, if s/he shows distinguishable service. I'd say saving the galaxy from an almost almighty threat is indeed grounds for a promtion.
