I didn't see any packages in SP, but I also didn't watch the demo. Try to keep the spoiler count low. Anyway, packages in SP sound interesting. Makes me wonder which came first: the MP package or the SP package?masster blaster wrote...

I was under the impression that your statement was directed at me. So I am trying to look smart by defending myself? And you obviously don't know how this thread works. When there is stuff to discuss, we discuss it. In this thread's 4500+ pages, we kinda analyzed the crap out of everything. Until Leviathan comes out, we will go off topic a bit. We're our own community, so we talk to each other about more than just IT.Iconoclaste wrote...
I tell you what : this thread is about IT, I did not even address you, and you try to look smart by defending a "fellow ITer", or so you think is your duty. The problem is : this thread is for discussing IT, not sports or multiplayer or such. So if I, who is no IT official "supporter", come here to discuss IT, and you, official "IT supporter" don't even know what you are doing here, I suppose you could at least learn some manners.BansheeOwnage wrote...

You talk about multiplayer, and Leviathan's voice being the one we hear at the end of the trailer. How does this relate to the IT?BansheeOwnage wrote...
Because his voice actor was already confirmed. He sounds (quite unsurprisingly) like Leviathan...Iconoclaste wrote...
And how would you link the voice to Leviathan, and not another Reaper?
Banshee I do find it funny that Shepard can run with the packages in SP, while in Mp we can't, since Bioware usd some Mp elements into the Leviathan dlc.

As for the Reapers' tactics. If IT is true you agree that the Reapers' methods of waging war are ingenious. They use both brute force and subtle prodding.
Only their use of indoctrination is ingenious. Their actual warfare tactics tend to be...
Well. Mass assault, stomping around on the ground shooting at tiny targets, not chasing down fleets, only sending single Destroyers to important warzones while having Capital Ships act as ground troops on various worlds, ignoring targets of oppertunity seemingly at random...
And most importantly, not capturing the Citadel right off the bat. Despite this being their primary strategy which has worked thousands of times before. The fact they are suffering the worst causualties ever (we assume, considering the Protheans were considered to have put up a good fight and failed to kill any Reapers...) and have organised resistance all over the Galaxy just goes to show how bad this new plan of theirs is. And yet they don't adjust.
You'd think billion year old machines who've had a lot of experience with this sort of thing would be more competant.
Also, remember that what happened during the Prothean cycle was long ago. Who said that information hadn't been lost? We only got menacing speeches from Vigil and Javik. I'm sure it wasn't so bad that they didn't kill a single Reaper.
Btw, I'm still waiting to see that darkened skies Sovereign heralded.
if the reapers wanted the citadel, they could have taken it. like they did at the end of the game. but the thing is, after Sovereign failed to seize the citadel in ME1, it simply wasnt worth it to the reapers.
after the reapers arrive in the galaxy by way of the batarian systems, if they had wanted to seize the citadel, they would have had to fight the citadel defense fleet in an entrenched position in the widow nebula for what?
the way the nebula formed around the citadel, it created an impassable obstacle that forces any invading fleet through a narrow opening where their numbers would have worked against them, almost exactly like the battle of thermopylae and the last stand of the 300. while reapers would try to get through the opening, the entire citadel defense fleet (a real unified fleet with multiple dreadnoughts, including the most powerful in the galaxy, the Destiny Ascension) would amass and focus massive firepower on the only entrance the reapers have. while all that was going on, C-Sec would have closed the citadel arms and taken up fortified positions all over the citadel. could the reapers fight past that? of course, they did. but they only did so AFTER it became apparent that taking the citadel was worth the cost (after learning of its value to the Allied Fleets). if the reapers had taken the citadel before priority earth, what could they have done with it? locked the relays? sure, but the reaper IFF that was dispersed among the fleets would have rendered that useless.

Sorry ment to say not talk about It out side this thread. We will actract unwanted people on this thread, and we should lay low for a while, so that we can gather all of the speculations that we have been coming up with, and make it inot one solid stament, that IT is possible for the endings of ME3. But I htik a few of the ITers are making a site on goggle about IT.
Ah. I'm the lead guy on that project. I've been working with Paxxton, CoolioThane, and TJB on it. I welcome any and all assistance on the document. Just ask me for the link and you can edit to your heart's content.
About discussing IT. I think we have every right to discuss our interpretation of the ending where it's relavent. There's no reason to lay low just because the vapid morons on this forum want nothing to do with anything that doesn't involve bashing Bioware.
