Not much, just discussing what they could do with ME4.

Canonizing destroy could work. The leviathans could turn out to be wolves wearing the fur of sheep.

Yeah, but it would be like fighting worse reapers/reapers with a new coat of paint. Again, kind of undermines control and synthesis in a literal view.

There really is no enemy greater than the reapers. It took the entire Citadel fleet to take Sovereign out. In a litteral sense, if you control the Reapers, they would be there to protect, as in in synthesis. With these endings, the Reapers will "gaurd over" those who live. In Destroy, there still can be great threats. In an IT point of view. I'm sure you have already discussed it would be like in ME2 with the suicide mission. (Control and Synthesis)

As I said, destroy would be canonized. Without eliminating the reapers in another way, it'd be the only one open to real conflict.

EDIT: Top again! 3 times in a row!

Wow! You're doing great; keep going!
I understand that it would be canonized, but that doesn't really mean it isn't undermining other options. (Not that I'm advocating for control or synthesis.)

Of course it'd be undermining other options.

Some interesting stuff in there. Species self-determination was by far the highest scoring option for goals. The LI is also the highest scoring option for personal motives. Synthesis and control totally go against self-determination so...

Yeah, I didn't even know he did videos. It just makes me sad that that guy can do that and not Bioware, apparently. Unless IT.

WHY IS IT ALWAYS UNLESS IT??? AAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted Image

Edit: Goodnight Estebanus. I think I'm gonna go for now too.

If you believe Levi killed IT, you are 180 degrees from correct.

Xil has tunnel vision against sacrificing the Geth and EDI. he/she also assumes the ending is real. I think that's enough to say Xil doesn't think deeply about much.

Hm... just came up with the following:
I guess you all already know my reactions to the Kid during my first playthrough and how I refused, and how it felt good?
Well, the Refuse choice somehow reminds me of this.

Restrider, if it does remind you of this - you do know that he killed her, right? That's the refuse choice in the shell.

Even with the tacked on bull**** about having to kill EDI and the Geth, the vast majority of people still picked destroy. I wonder how large that number would be if it only killed the Reapers?

It probably would be depressingly low. Of course, by depressingly low, I mean there would be at least one who chose Control and one who chose Synthesis, which would be one too many for each.

come into this thread and watch the silly literalists rage. It's hilarious.

I'd punch the closest person in the face. I
hate IT and I'll hate the rest that comes with it. If they want to do a
new ending, redo it (in terms of completely new and changing everything
about it) or modify. Do NOT bring in a ending worse then the original
ME3 ending without the extended cut.

However, if puzzle theory (if I'm correct... successful refuse?) was the
thing, then I wouldn't be as mad. I just don't want this "YOU'RE
INDOCTRINATED!" or "fake" endings added. Personally, if a successful
refuse is added I want it to have a downside to it as well, maybe a huge
ton of casualties that we truly can't comprehend or something. I don't
want a easy win.

That's just me personally.

Interesting
insight man. So, you're not against opening up to a different ending,
but if it is about Shepard being indoctrinated, you'll receive it
poorly.

Do you mind if I ask why exactly ? Is it because you will be angry to have been strung along for almost a year ?

Yes because retconing the climax of an established trilogy for a whole "It was all a dream" excuse IS F#^&#$* STUPID!!!

Seriously
how the hell do people actually think cuttting out the established
endings that people chose to be nothing more than "fake endings" after
putting so much hard thought and discusssion into each ending from all 3
perspectives about how they each supported and rejected their certain
choice be a brilliant idea?

Just suggesting a hypothetical makes them slam on their ragefaces.
