To be honest, I'm not surprised. Omega will be all about Cerberus. Harbinger continues to be MIA. Though, a surprise appearance towards the end of Omega would be nice.

Yeah, I've never once heard someone say "The short answer is no. The long answer is also no."
Plus, seems like a lot of effort to design and program collectors if they're not going to be in the DLC in any way.
Unless Shepard has another nightmare and the collectors feature into it, instead of it just being the kid and some spooky shadows for once. Then they wouldnt technically be part of Omega, but they'd still be in the DLC.

Hello if Collectors not in Omega, then The collectors in MP are not real. Hellish was right mp is a big silulate.
I dont know how you made that leap of logic.
I still find the simulator idea to be extremely unlikely, and pretty silly.

Agreed. Making the entirety of multiplayer a simulation essentially makes it a complete waste of time for both the player and the developer. What exactly would be the point of the weekend Operations and DLC if is all just a simulation?

Relax. By turning literalists' snarkiness against them it disarms them. Nothing wrong with poking fun at ourselves either.

He seemed to qualify that by elaborating that there'll be a backstory on the blog. According to him, they have no other real reason to be around.

I'd also like to add that Synthesis is also the easiest to see and identify, since it's a bright light straight ahead, meaning that it's also the easiest choice to get to. That is exactly how I accidentally picked Synthesis the first time. I was confused and overwhelmed by the idiocy of the Guardian that I never saw the ramps up the side. I initially thought that the ending was an ending of degree, rather than an ending of choice, meaning that Destroy was the low EMS result, Control the middle EMS result, and Synthesis high EMS result. I didn't even realize that it was a choice until after the credits rolled.Davik Kang wrote...
This got me thinking too. Imagine if you like that the ending is like zooming into Shepard's mind. First we escape Earth (reality). Then we are in Shepard's mind (the Citadel scene resembles a brain). Then we come so close to Shepard's consciousness that we are like a pinpoint, like the little arrow at the centre of the decision wheel. This would make sense as to why the Chamber resembles a giant decision wheel.
Note also that Synthesis is beyond the back of, and lower down than, the other choices... it is beyond the normal decision wheel if you like. It is a choice we normally cannot make... it is the choice of a god... or of insanity.

This puts Omega at about 6-8 hours in length, which is longer than many retail games. I think it is a combination of multiple DLC's because of the EC pushing everything back. It would also explain the late release date if they went ahead and just merge two DLC's together because they were similar in nature.Eryri wrote...
Yes this confused me too. Mike Gamble's comment was that Omega was "twice the size of any DLC we've ever done". But the EC was already up against the Xbox's limits. Perhaps it refers to play time rather than the compressed file size? I hope so anyway, to justify its high price.
Well remember, he said "basically double the size of any ME3 DLC". So double Leviathan, really. LotSB doesn't qualify under that comment. Was Leviathan 3 hours long? I didn't download it.
See how Gamble plays the word game? They're pros at semantics over at BW.

I hear ya. But we'll be proven right in the end. And then everyone (literalists and ITers) wins!

Leviathan was 3 to 4 hours long if you did everything. On average it was about 2 to 3 hours in length. It took me upwards of three because I'm a completionist.LazyTechGuy wrote...
