Ah gotcha. I have a feeling Gamble was referring to the minimum time it would take to complete Leviathan rather than a completionist's version. But now I'm just branching into speculation mode so I won't make my assumptions fact.

I guess we'll see. I just always get weary when we put too much weight on Gamble's hype machine.

Yes this confused me too. Mike Gamble's comment was that Omega was "twice the size of any DLC we've ever done". But the EC was already up against the Xbox's limits. Perhaps it refers to play time rather than the compressed file size? I hope so anyway, to justify its high price.

This puts Omega at about 6-8 hours in length, which is longer than many retail games. I think it is a combination of multiple DLC's because of the EC pushing everything back. It would also explain the late release date if they went ahead and just merge two DLC's together because they were similar in nature.

Well remember, he said "basically double the size of any ME3 DLC".  So double Leviathan, really.  LotSB doesn't qualify under that comment.  Was Leviathan 3 hours long?  I didn't download it.

See how Gamble plays the word game?  They're pros at semantics over at BW.

Totally. They're both masters and failures at PR. Masters in that they REALLY know how to word things. Failures because they don't exactly gather up player faith in them, at this point.

But yeah, Leviathan is between 2-4 hours. I'd say Omega will be 3-6 (and only 6 if you investigate everything and realllllyyy take your time, so more like 3-5).

What does religious and not religious mean in this context?

A religious person is someone who either believes in a supernatural god or power and attends places of worship, or simply believes in a supernatural god or power. A non-religious person is an atheist or agnostic.

The results of the poll so far are not very suprising assuming that most voters are ITers.

Even those who believe in Christ are religious, as they obtained that idea from religious individuals or from clearly religious texts, they just don't follow a specific church.

Spiritual is a far more broad concept, that you just think that deities/spirits/larger supernatual concepts exist.

Just wanted to further clarify to those on this thread. I'm an agnostic athiest myself, and my boyfriend is more of the agnostic thiest sort (Christian Lebanese family though). He's playing Mass Effect 2 now and I wonder what his final ME3 choice will be ;)

You could say that. I though there would be more diversity in how many people chose different endings. Well, looks like the indoc attempt by BioWare kinda failed. Posted Image

I collectively included Christ in god. Well, that was actually one of the reasons of stating the poll's question ambiguously. Everybody knows to some extent if they are religious or not. They just need to choose an answer.

Don't forget to post what he chooses. And tell him to vote!

Hi again all, thanks for the replies.

Yeah the spin doctoring and PR is getting a bit much at this point. I'm hoping for some clarity and possibly an Omega trailer on November 7th.

I'm a bit disappointed to hear that Collectors won't be making an appearance in Omega, but on the plus side maybe this means we'll see the Adjutants after all?

One can hope. I'll admit, I'm a little disheartened to hear this news. I'm still excited - don't get me wrong. Now I wonder what Omega will be about. Knowing BioWare and their track record, this won't just be a 'go to Omega and kill Cerberus troopers' DLC. It'll have a story. So what could that story be? How could they flesh it out to be double the size of Leviathan?

I speculated a while back when looking at the file links and conditionals that either the Omega and Citadel DLCs had been merged into a single entity, or that the DLC would compare Omega and the Citadel...
I wonder...

Compare? How? You mean events in Omega DLC will have consequences in the Citadel DLC?

Otter my friend good to see you. And Think about this. If you unlock endings due to your ems, which is the best one.

Destroy because of the breath scene. It's a nod to the players, that your Shepard past the test.

Synthesis is the Reapers ultimate Control over Shepard, while Destroy breath scene is Shepard's trojin horse.

True, synthesis could represent what a lot of you have been saying, the reapers are desperate and don't have time to control (blue) Shepard so they hope he'll walk into the giant magic beam and straight up join them willingly.

I'm thinking the same thing. Perhaps the Citadel DLC wasn't as strong on its own as Omega and they became one. Otherwise it would be the Omega and Citadel DLC.
However, I like the idea of the two being compared. That's interesting food for thought.

Sorry I couldn't post that link to the confirmation but I was doing something else and just logged back on the thread right now.

Well people it's been a good run for me but with the recent no collectors statement, I am finally convinced Bioware doesn't care what the fans want. I also believe that IT isn't what they intended and they are simply milking the people who try to have positive attitudes about their ambiguity. I am officially done with IT but it was nice speculating with the lot of yall.

I will probably drop in with the literalists when there's some good arguing going on though.

The inside of the crater does kinda look like an apple, if you tilt your head to the left a little. My imagination can't account for the other, smaller craters unfortunately.
