I see it, but cou;dn't the Normandy blow up Omega with it's guns. It's possible if you have Thanix canons.

Maybe Harbinger went too far with messing with Shepard's mind, he got depressed and became suicidal. Posted Image jk

Highly unlikely. That would be like the Normandy destroying the Citadel with those guns. Omega might not be as big as the CItadel but it's pretty big.

just as the Collector ship was, or maybe there is a boom on Omega, and we had a chocie earlier.

either save Omega, or Destroy it.

save it don't blow it up.

Destroy it shoot at the booms Cerberus has on Omega, or Arias men set up. speculations.

It does look that way, it could just be the lighting around Omega that makes it seem that way.

So let me get this straight some people are pulling " it's just a game, and anything can happen in a game that makes no sense." Really if that was the case the Normandy can take on the whole Reaper fleet, and win without getting a sratch. To be honset I think Omega is already done, but they are adding something else in the files for the next dlc, or maybe something at the end. Maybe something else after the breath scene? Anderson calling Shepard's name like he did when Shepard was knocked out for a bit? Speculation

I firmly believe that Omega will have a scene that is almost exactly like a scene near the end of the game (where indoctrination is involved). Also, they have had later DLC files put in earlier DLC's, so people (like TSA) will be able to find the new files! I cannot wait for this DLC, and analyzing how it affects/supports IT!

Simple post-production: additional audition, rendering cinematics, bughunting, etc.

Also the fact that they probably don't want to release it around the release date of Halo 4 for pretty obvious reasons...

FFZero wrote...

Also if they're going to use IT and the next game is a continuation of ME3 it kind of spoils the surprise a bit don't you think? Though honestly if at the end of the DLC cycle there is not definitive answer one way or the other, or there's no hint of it being expanded on in future, I'm done defending Bioware and I'll join the group saying 'Yeah Bioware f***ed up royally' You can't leave things like this up to speculation forever, it just pisses people off and then they stop caring about the series all together.

Agreed.

Is it just me or is Omega exploding in this photo?

Destroy good thing, save it bad thing. I like it that we can blow up Omega. Maybe Omega is some Reaper tech, or Cerberus installed Reaper tech on Omega. Speculations.Posted ImagePosted Image

Wouldn't releasing this pic be too big a spoiler for BioWare to overlook?

They didn't release it, somebody sneakily took a photo they weren't supposed to take

masster blaster wrote...
not really. they put their scripts about Leviathan in the dlc, so why not do a picture instead.

That was quite a major error, but they've stopped leaving quite so much stuff in the files...

My thoughts on the photo:

Someone sneakily took a photo and released it. Why bother risking taking a photo if you aren't going to get something noteworthy? The people in that room will almost certainly know who took the photo and respond accordingly. If you found out you didn't capture anything interesting, why post it? It's just a normal picture of Omega if the "explosion" is just a visual effect causes by the photo-taking process.

Naturally, the dearth of information on Omega means that we will most likely spend time speculating and dissecting just about any picture and give the photographer the attention he/she so desires. They could also be an idiot that would sacrifice exclusive access for such a lame "story."

Popping in to ask a question. I tried searching the IT threads through google but no luck. Has there been any discussion about the category 6 discharge references and IT in ME3? If so, I'd like to read them. When I heard that line from Private Westmoreland the first time, I thought for sure they might go that way with Shep, especially since the example was "Cat 6? Damn. Well, if I'd been on Eden Prime, I'd have lost it, too." Most of the security guard lines felt like anvils, but as of yet it seems none of them were.

It would be so sweet if these three threads had their own private search functions, heh. :)

Krim, um ya this is an IT thread, and to be honest I have no clure about cat 6. The others might, but me no.Also check the 1 page/post. Everything you want to know is on there, except the top ten backbones of IT. It's done, but we are taking votes on which order each one should go in.

Yep, I know it's an IT thread -- it's the title! ;) In ME3, Cat 6 is discharge for mental instability and I found it relevant to the indoc. Since these threads are thorough, I'd figured the discussion had already happened. Just looking for some good reads, bro.

I think it might be some kind of lense flare though...

I hope it doesn't get destroyed. Poor Aria:crying:.

Maybe we'll see Aria crying. Someone who was always strong and determined, now crippled looks at her greatest achievement engulfed in flames.

And then in deep hatred for Cerberus, she joins Shepard and company perminately! Or maybe, she becomes another fallen friend and goes down with Omega...

I hope it is the former.

She'll make it and send all her resources, all of them, to Earth.

Krim I don't think we talked about that. Well not in depth. If you have read the thread. You would have had lots of good reads. Not saying this thread mark 3 has good reads, but that's when ideas were born like crazy.

Considering the only reason we have the Terminus Fleet war asset is because we got all the gangs to be controlled by Aria, I figure she'll survive. It'd kinda suck to take away a non DLC war asset with DLC.

Lovely...

Oh right!

Yeah, ME2 is full of hints looking back.

Boyfriend just did Samara's Loyalty tonight. Two details:

1)Morinth claims she is the genetic destiny of the Asari.
..What if she is? Not perfectly, no, but in terms of her telepathic powers! I mentioned earlier that Leviathans --> Thorian --> Rachni, but can we add Asari to the end of that? That organics, sufficiently advanced and evolved, just want to DOMINATE?
The Asari also seem to be the true representative species for this cycle, but they were too diplomatic (enter Council) and all that human stuff happened once the cycle was subverted by Ilos prothians.

2)She acts as an APEX PREDATOR.

Essentially, this is all foreshadowing about where the Leviathans or Reapers may be manipulating organics. Humanity is the key not just due to 'genetic diversity', but simply diversity overall. We're the most diverse society, have the most diverse opinions, and spread diversity (whether we mean it or not) throughout the galaxy (where the Asari instead spread unity....).

That's bad for the Reapers AND Leviathans imo, because I think Leviathans prefer a uniform organic system to control, and Reapers actually want an apex race (see Prothians) because they're easier to topple.

Instead, we have a cycle where both the strong... AND the 'weak' are in this fight together. HELLO VOLUS. Hello Quarians! Hello Batarians! And synthetics? Hello geth!

This is the cycle where it will all be won. That's why Refuse is admirable, but also wrong - we need to win this fight HERE, no matter what illusion we're being shown.

Also, #3...

3)TIM's mission report has a line that hints that now that Shepard is essentially 'done with Omega', Cerberus can now COMMENSE OPERATIONS there. Bioware had their comic for occupation already written up, and I'm sure already had plans for creating Omega mission/DLC in ME3. This isn't anything special in itself, but it does show that Bioware is capable of small foreshadowing a few years in advance.
I'm sure Omega itself does have huge importance, and just may be an earlier Crucible, or even the first. If its also a Collector cloning plant... that has terrible implications for the current Crucible (which will be then shown to be a REAPER TRAP).

Your welcome skrim, and um if you come across some talk about pies, a carzy idea of combining all theorys together, or huge flare debates/arguments, then good luck trying to read that in mark two.

Also how far are you in Mark one, and Mark two is about the same number of pages as mark one.
