Okay, so does anyone actually know what that glowing light is at the Mako in the scene where people are running towards the 2 reapers after choosing your ending? Is it just a light?

OK, I couldn't stay away. I was just listening to We Fought As A United Galaxy (The Rejection track, I believe.), and the ending sounded kind of abrupt, much like An End Once And For All. It seemed to build to a climax (No jokes please.), and then just stopped.

Does anyone know what the bubble-type thing is in the leviathan screen with Liara and Shep?

Did you also notice in the leviathan demo Shep was shooting Reaper artifacts - interesante

No, I won't give in, I refuse to give up hope!

Alright, if IT is correct, I'll always choose Destroy.  If Literalism is correct, I'll make Shepards with each ending just so I can see how everything plays out in future games.  I want to see how BioWare is going to be able to pull off a game that accounts for all four possible endings.

Easy, but not making a game post ME3. SInce they admitted that there's no canon ending, they pretty much killed any posiibility of this.

Future ME games will be prequels.

Does anyone have an idea on how the "You've come too far line" by Leviathan may link into the IT?

But what's weird is that prequels just seem pointless.  The only major events in the years before Mass Effect 1 are the First Contact War, the events of Mass Effect: Revelations, and the backgrounds for Shepard.  And honestly, none of these sound like appealing options for prequels.  The only way that they can go that would make me want to keep going with this universe is to keep moving forward.  And they've Artistic Integritied themselves into a corner without IT.

All part of our master plan to get the blue BioWare name back under the thread, Chris! And it worked!

Just kidding of course. I myself was just thinking we were getting quite a bit off topic.

IT was my plan byne. And why do you point me out for this.

Those vengeful Protheans! Always using v's in their vocabulary! Especially those virtual VIs! Their verbiage has such a variety of verbality. I verily think their vernacular is an interesting version, at least versus ours. It's so vivacious! I wonder if their vessels also had V names. Too bad we never asked the veteran Javik during his visit.

Well this confirms that Chris is watching our Thread, so maybe he likes IT, and does not want IT to become like the other threads.

It looks a bit like the prothean artifact we recovered during the Firewalker DLC.

Holy shisno it's you!  Uh, OK, I have just one question, is Leviathan going to confirm or deny IT?  I mean, I know you probably can't answer this, but I just thought is was worth asking.

So, as the selfish meme theory says, the main enemy of Mass Effect is, indeed, indoctrination. What if this is true? And how would it be implemented into the game if it turns out that the IT is true?

Back on topic!

curiously, what's your strongest piece of IT evidence? that one thing that makes you go "yep, that's gotta be it"? try and stick to one thing.

Well it's not really that simple, but if I had to stick to one piece of evidence, I would go with this:

The utter improbability that Bioware would write such an awesome, deep game with such great lore and characters, then apparently forget all of those characters, break the lore, and release a generally unsatisfying end the their awesome trilogy. The end of ME3 is arguably the most important part of the series. But then, after that, release more awesomely written DLC. How could they be awesome, screw up very badly, then be awesome again? Doesn't make any sense! So my biggest piece of IT evidence is BW screwing up that badly, because it simply makes less sense than the endings!

Mass Effect: First Contact!

Experience the conflict sparked by the Relay 314 Incident, known by humanity as the First Contact War! Your weapons are worse! Your biotics are worse! You're basically just fleeing from turians who are destroying entire city blocks just to try and smush you like a bu
g! No matter how well you play, you still lose the war!

Cmon, who wouldnt play that?

Though, without picking a canon ending, I dont see how its possible to go forward. Yknow, unless none of the endings really happened or something...

It wouldn't be the first time. Halo Reach was pretty successful. Then there's God of War: Chains of Olympus, Ghost of Sparta and the promising looking Acension, Deus Ex: HE, Metal Gear Solid 3 and metroid prime are just a few.

A ME prequel about the rachni or contact war seem to be likely possibilities. I would love to play as Anderson during the contact war.
