Hmm. I'm not seeing exactly how the Normandy is facing here. Where is the front?estebanus wrote...
I am still of the opinion that the very bright thing you're seeing there must either be the galactic core, or the system's sun. Also, the Normandy is clearly flying towards Omega, not away from it. Now why would a ship fly towards an exploding space station?HomesV500 wrote...
Wow I really don't know what to say about that maybe it's just the quality of the screenshot or maybe you have an option of blowing up Omega but honestly who would wanna do that? Omega is Awesome!TSA_383 wrote...

@TSA_383 Seriously? You sure maybe it was just the quality of the picture I mean why would they show something that spoilerific?
Decide for yourself

I don't know. Remember the asteroid in Arrival? It was much smaller than the Citadel and it wasn't trasnported. (Yes, I know size has nothing to do with mass.) Though, that is probably because the asteroid didn't calculate its mass right.

The Asteroid was being slammed into the relay...
I supposed the relay could have opened a mass free corridor so the asteroid slammed into the relay faster...

From what I've seen, this is the case...BansheeOwnage wrote...
In all seriousness though, does the direction of the relay's user affect anything? Does a ship have to be travelling parallel to the relay?

Yeah, I don't know, I'm working off of a mental image of the asteroid, so...demersel wrote...

Who says it was smaller? You know, those relays are not that small. Normandy is really tiny comapred to them. And that asteroid was much bigger than a relay. If anything they are comparable.
The citadel:
Total Length (Open):[/b] 44.7km
Diameter (Open):[/b] 12.8km
Population:[/b] 13.2 million
Gross Weight:[/b] 7.11 billion metric tons
Asteroid really looks like he can be of the same size or even bigger.

But here is a comparison screenshot for the relay.

I would think Turians would be more likely to volunteer considering that's exactly what they did on Palaven. Though, it's kind of unfair to generalize a species like that. I'm sure many from all species would, and many wouldn't.demersel wrote...
Fill those asteroids with geth and suicide troops, like batarians - to board the damaged reapers and kill their hearts from with in, like we did it with the derelict reaper - and we've got ourselves a victory right there. (geth when the platform is destroyd can upload into a new one. Batarinas will probably volonteer anyway)

Not really. The reapers would be dead. Who cares at that point?demersel wrote...
We haven't yet threw an asteroid into something in ME3, and it is kind of a ME tradition! I want it! I want ot throw an asteroid at the citadel! (face it, if we get rid of the reapers, the citadel and the mass relays will have to go. )

It is unknown whether you could be indoctrinated if the reapers no longer existed. My guess (and headcanon) is no. You can't convince someone to follow a doctine that doesn't exist. Indoctrination works by convincing you to become passive towards the reapers.demersel wrote...

Sadly, the Reapers, are not the giant cuttlefish spaceships. The reapers are an idea. And while the technology that suggests that idea exist - they exist.
