Ok. So after the chat with coats. There are some soldiers taking shots at distant targets. But four others (later addressed by Vega) are just standing there? And Vega only appears after?

Second. A radio transmission comes in saying Hammer's 8th wave won't make it. But the soldiers in the base just say "negative, continue to bring the 8th squad in".

Is everyone here in London indoctrinated? It's like the beginning of the Reaper's human army.

Why would Anderson bring us here if he is indoctrinated? It makes sense if the beam is a powerful artifact, fed with sacrificial humans. It means it could be a powerful enough object to indoctrinate Shepard and her squad. And the closer she gets, the more bizarre her hallucinations become...

Why would the other clans fans give Wrex the ITers trouble? You'd think they'd want a better future ending.

It's not in the nature of our males the other fans to cooperate. Their only concern is survival being right. Wrex IT is different.

Actually, I could just leave the males part unchanged. Posted Image

P.S. If I end up making it out of this but you don’t, I’ll be sure you get a hero’s funeral and a Bekenstein wake. That’s like an Irish wake, but not as sober and reserved.

Holy 4th wall breaking final message before retaking Earth!

I've cut down to the most important part.

Imagine how pissed someone like Allers would be after seeing their home colony destroyed by the reapers. Not harvested, not assaulted, destroyed. Synthesis and Control could never get rid of the resentment that would fester from a wound that deep.

Trust me I brought Anderson maybe Indoctrinated or acting strange, but byne wouldn't hear it. I said why does Shepard say " Really if we talked with Anderson and found out je was born in London. I mean come on Shepard, then Anderson says " To bad it took the Reapers to bring us together." Yet this is where I drew the line.

Anderson knows something isn't right with Shepard. That " Really" was like what? Anderson'd face tells you that " okay Shepard come on I told you this a few hours back." It's like Anderson was going to question Shepard further, until Shepard's squad corrects Anderson. Then Shepard regains his/her thoughts and is like " Okay I am just glad to be back home."

At that point Anderson pushed the thought of Shepard being Indoctrinated out of his head.

Also what would have happened if Bioware put a vison of Saren jumping in the Synthesis beam, like they did with TIM Control, Anderson= Destroy?

I heard he was trying to cure the genophage change the ending for Clan Weyrloc the literalists.

Are they a rival clan fanbase?

Rivalries are the invention of the males literalists. Under their rule, Tuchanka the BSN ras laid in ruins for over a thousand years 7 months. It's time females ITers took back our place in society on the forums - and resurrected our future.

Not only that, but she talks about making everything normal again. Only one ending has things back to normal. And laughing again? In synthesis, everyone is expressionless.

Commander
I don’t know if you are aware how much you mean to people, but I am. The things I see in Battlespace’s mailbox could make a geth grow tear ducts. Page after page of people asking you to go save their mother’s planet, or the homeworld they outgrew, or the mining colony they sank their fortunes into. They don’t know that you can’t do it all. They just know Commander Shepard beat a Reaper once and can do it again.
I know how they feel. When I heard about Bekenstein, it was like all the nerves in my body were cut. But I need to believe this isn’t the end. I need to believe that you’re going to destroy the Reapers and I’m going to film it as it happens. And when the fight is over, and my signal goes out on tightbeam, people are going to come together from all over the galaxy. They’re going to watch from their couches, and they’ll celebrate. And one day, they’ll laugh again.
The laughing part is important. I want you to make it all normal again, Shepard. Because that’s the best revenge I can think of.

Banshee was that message before Leviathan, or after because I never got that message in pre EC, or after EC. Also this message it a big hint that we need to believe that we can Destroy the Reaper.

Control= we can't because now we need them to save the Synthetics.
Synthesis= we can't because this is our only chance to make peace with them, and nobody needs to die.
Refuse= we can't kill the Reapers because we can't pick a choice at all.
" And if I die I die knowing I did everything I could to stop you."
Really that's a hint to the player that " Hello Destroy can Destroy the Reapers/ stop them."

Also here is what I think happence. If Shepard dies the galaxy looses. If Shepard lives the galaxy can win depening on our chocies/ the path Shepard took.

Shepard is the galaxy. If Shepard dies the galaxy dies.

Control= Shepard is under the Reapers Control, and the galaxy is too.
Synthesis= Shepard surrenders to the Reapers, and exepts the Reapers, and so does the galaxy.
Destroy= Shepard fights, and so does the galaxy.
Refuse= Shepard gives up, and the galaxy gives up.

Also I think Refuse is BS with showing Liara because um hello were is the talk about Shepard?

In Destroy, and refuse they say nothing about Shepard like he is not dead, yet in Synthesis, and Control they tell you ( the player) that your Shepard is dead.

Liara: I'd be very interested to know how you found out about [the crucible].

Wrex: It wasn't that hard.

So, if Wrex said it "wasn't that hard" to find out about, how is it even possible the reapers didn't know about it?

Sorry, stop thinking right now! It's a trick question; it's not.

No, I was just making an inside joke. Sorry. the 1M1 thing ticks off some people.

Ok.

The plan to attack the Earth beam is entirely Anderson's idea.  Shepard is like "wtf?"  Anderson says you can't attack the Citadel because the doors are closed.  You need to take a back door.

Btw this is extremely similar to Saren's ME1 plan, as Seival recently pointed out.  I know Seival ain't a friend in here but it is a good point.

When Shep asks "why are we going to London?"  Anderson mentions that a beam on London goes to the Citadel.  How does he know this?  No idea.  We just see a brief red hologram of the beam structure.

Note that in the Citadel space shots, we never see any beam directed at Earth.

This seems pretty serious.  Hold the TIM thing.  This Anderson plan seems to be falling apart.

You make an excellent point about Saren's attack. What's interesting (to me, and perhaps only to me) is that the entire Mass Effect storyline, starting in ME 1 is full of overlapping and interlocking "double structures" like the one you point out. For instance, there are multiple beings that work via mind control in the first game: Sovreign and the Thorian. There are more examples, but I can't dig them up right now. Anyhow, it's not at all out of the question that Shepard is in fact "repeating" Saren's attack on the Citadel after a fashion. It makes narrative sense. No idea whether that helps or hurts the indoctrination question, though I think it's really interesting that this discussion is ongoing, even though it seemed the "new" ending sort of (maybe) explained that everything was "real" or real-ish.

In any case, I've been away from this thread for several months, but I'm glad to see it's continuing. I've got a lot of catching up to do. Maybe I'll have more to contribute when I've had a minute to read up. Keep up the good work.

Does anybody know what Big Ben symbolizes? It was in the trailer, it's in the game, and it is in the ending sequence. London is rubble but Big Ben is still standing. What does it symbolize???

Exactly. It's an extremely obvious hint to the players that Starkid is the enemy you've been fighting for 3 years. I'll die knowing I did everything I could to stop you.

Him! The starkid. Something I love: Wikipedia lists the Catalyst under the antagonist section. Posted Image

MB, Allers' message is available right before assaulting Earth. It's likely the last thing you'll see before making the assault.

Everyone knows about the Crucible! It's not that hard. I mean come on TIM knew about the Crucible since the mars arcives, and since TIM is Indoctrinated, then the Reapers know that the Crucible is still around.

Also in Leviathan when Shepard askes about the Crucible, it's eyes shift towards the ground, then to the right then back to Shepard. They know what the Crucible really is, and they are hiding something.

They have watch countless cycles build the Crucible, but failed. Yet this cycle is the first to build it fully. Also Catalyst says they found out about the Crucible seven cycles ago, and thought they Destroyed it, yet in Javils cycle, they had plans for the Crucible, yet why does the Catalyst tells us that " We found out about the Crucible seven cycles ago, and thought we Destroyed it." I mean come on.

Btw they cut out something interesting in the low ems ending.
Guardian: "The Crucible changed me, created new possibilities, but I can't make them happen." this was followed by "And I wont." earlier, but it isn't anymore.

(Seriously need not to forget uploading the video tonight as I just cannot find any low ems post ec ending videos...)
