What is really relevant about this is the way it's written.  That's not how you write a message.  That's how you speak. So Shepard is reading something that really she's hearing...

Off topic, but when I used the save editor to make all my guns level 10, the Adas won't make any firing sounds. When I first did it, I changed it to level 9 and that fixed the problem, allowing for me to buy the 10th level in a NGP. Now that I save edited again for the new pack, it won't work at 9 or 10.

Also, my Collector Rifle won't work at 10 anymore, but does at 9, just like the Adas used to.

This only affects the firing sounds and not the weapon functionally. Anyone know what's wrong?

I've just been wondering how liquified organic paste retains any cognitive function to form a gestalt intelligence. I've thought for a while-what if they need a willing organic they find suitable to create a Harbinger type Reaper?

A little more out there, but what if the beam is intended only for Shepard, and the end is a test to see if he's capable of becoming a sentient Reaper?
Like Davik suggested (kinda) maybe most of the other Reapers are synthetic with gestalt minds.
Harbinger style Reapers are incredibly rare maybe. That's why they haven't pushed indoctrination of Shepard too far, they want a willing ally. That also fits with why Harbinger pulverized everyone but Shepard. Synthesis is walking into the beam, willing and fully aligned with the Reaper ideology.

Just a theory. Begin ripping it apart!

Have you tried deleting saving and putting them back again?

If I remember correctly the datapad was next to a body. So the one who recorded it committed a suicide.

The place was dark though, so had to increase brightness to see the place properly.

We were kicking the Turians a**, and look what we did to the Batarians.

Humanity took over the galaxy/ spread all over in about 20 years. The Asari may have higher tech, but Humanity could beat them. Humanity is willing to do anything, and they can be very persuasive.

That's why the Reapers like Humanity, put hate it as well.

Humanity is the idealism of what the Catalyst seeks. Humanity is the final evolution of the Reapers, and Humanity is the key to defeat them. Humanity are like the Reapers in every way. What we do, and what we think sometimes resembles what Reapers do, and think.

Maybe control is succumbing to indoctrination, synthesis is walking into the beam to get uploaded, and destroy is not complying. The Reapers need to see if Shepard can pass the test before being uploaded as the new Reaper conscience

You Spot Humanity was the race that took down Nazar. It wasn't the other races, the Turians were to damaged to help, but it was the Alliance that gave them problems.

The Reapers fear Humanity because it's the only races as far as we know that that stop them from returing. Yws Protheans, but Humanity stoped them. Why do you think in ME2 Harbinger is interested in Humanity? It's because Shepard stoped them, and the Alliance fleets took Nazar down.

So in return Harbinger will make Humanity a capital Reaper, and have Shepard be the mind in the new Reaper. Yet when we Destroy, or save the base, Harbinger is done playing nice.

That is why Harbinger leades the attack on Earth, and the bulk of the Reaper force is at Earth. Think about it Hackett couldn't put up a fight for 2 minutes, while the other races are. Earth fall to quick because the Reapers are there in force.

Okay here is were it get's weird. You see Harbinger created the boy in Shepard's mind. If you go back to Arrival Shepard is shown visions if you failed, so what's to say Harbinger can't creat a boy that isn't real.

Not hard if you think, and Harbinger had acsses to Shepard's mind. That brings the endings. When Bioware releases dlc, it means Shepard was suppost to do them. Yes it's optional to do them, but when Bioware creats a dlc, it means you should do them.

Which is why I am going to by Arrival, Overlord, and Kasumi tommorow. Now if it's about weapon dlc or character out fits, I don't now about that.

I think the idea of synthesis being walking into the beam to be uploaded as the new Reapers mind explains well why it takes the highest ems other than successful destroy.

Shepard needs to prove himself worthy and be willing to submit to Harbinger

Plus, destroy really isn't a choice where you lose. The reapers are dead. Wouldn't that mean that in the 2nd option, every choice, excluding refusal, should lead to victory?
