Apparently, we don't. If they're not going to do anything after high EMS destroy, then we lose in three of the endings and Shepard's dead or dying in the High EMS Destroy. I have a feeling they might do something with Destroy or refuse when the puzzle pieces are in place though.

I'm not sure what the crucible is, other than some kind of dark energy device. Maybe it's been designed by the Reapers to kill the organics that activate it, sort of like a gun cleverly designed to shoot the user. Maybe it's a mass-indoctrination device. Maybe it really is a super-weapon that organics designed and passed on, adding to it cycle after cycle.

But the last time things were passed on from previous cycles were the Citadel and Mass Relays and we all know how that ended up. If it's been tampered with or re-designed, I would assume Shepard might find out and get the allied races to fix it or add onto it or something. This is all speculation of course. We've all been saying for a while that it is probably a Reaper trap.

Did you create a poll to find out if too many people will indeed don't like the idea? Without a poll we would never find out anything about that. And the poll has to have a lot of votes. If 1 user says "Yes", and 40 users say "No" it actually means nothing. We must have much more votes to make some valid conclusions...

...I created such poll. All pro-IT-ers and anti-IT-ers could vote, if they really interested in resolving the IT situation once and for all. And I'm afraid there is no other way to resolve the situation completely.

If you ever wonder why I havent played xbox much over the past few months, its because my TV is mounted on the wall with one side about 1/5th of an inch lower than the other side, and my OCD does not allow me to play on a TV with such a glaring error.

Gonna have to take it off the wall and put it on a TV stand or something soon.

It kind of sucks.

Certainly the crucible could accomplish two things without even being able to fire. Waste massive resources and time, get the chosen subject to walk into the beam. Keeps the Reapers safer by keeping the focus off of direct confrontation.

Whether it can be used by or against the Reapers by firing it....I'm not sure.


If it isn't a super weapon it explains why the Reapers act so nonchalant about it.

It's still me. And I'm offering a way to resolve the situation without any unneeded emotions.

We all have to admit that IT is a time bomb which explodes on BSN with each new patch or DLC.

I still think that IT was disproved a lot of times. I still see that the theory provides a lot of speculations and holy wars. And I believe that idea described in that thread can stop this once and for all. Both pro and anti would be happy.

The only problem with the solution is that some people might dislike the idea that destroying Collector base in ME2 will make Control and Synthesis critical mission failures...

...I'm a pure anti-IT-er, but still think the idea described in that thread worth it. What kind of anti-IT-er someone should be, to dislike that compromise?
