Yeah, I got used to Garrus and Liara as my tag team. Don't know why.
Even when I replay the trilogy, I have to force myself to change it up, to get a different experience.

for this for years, since the beginning of the Mass Effect franchise.
Largely the same team, most of the same leads have worked on this for
years and years. They’ve thought about [the ending] for years and years.
It’s not something they’ve had to solve in a week or a month even, but
over the course of five or ten years.”

If Liara cries from seeing my Shepard hurt, then I seriously doubt her emotional stability. For god's sake, she recovered Shepard's corpes when it was nothing but iced meat and shattered bones! Seeing the love of her life a little banged up probably wouldn't affect her too much.masster blaster wrote...
Guys I have been wondering what if depending on your chcoies, How you treated your squadmates former, and now, and Paragon, or Renegade paths will effect Shepard from getting up from the rubble?
What if Bioware makes our LI cry when they see Shepard all... F*** up? Would you cry, or feel like killing Harbinger slowly for making you LI cry?

Bullsh*t. The lead writer even admitted that they hadn't already planned the entire storyline and ending for ME3 by the ending of ME1. The basics were there, as in the reapers invading, but nothing else.BansheeOwnage wrote...

That depends on how you view it. Ingame evidence dictates that you're right. However, if viewed from another perspective, those things may just as well appear as bad writing to other people, or inconsistency in the story.BansheeOwnage wrote...

However, BioWare's response to the IT has made it pretty clear. For me, at least.

I thought so too. That weird little scene where Shepard sensed the presence of the beacon on Thessia seemed to be screaming foreshadowing that he / she was "The One (T.M.)", with some unique role to play. But if the literal endings are true, then we could have chucked any random organic down the chute to bring about the age of green sparkles.

No I was not joking. Also think about it. Sovereign was about 2km in length, compare that to the Empire State Building which is merely 381m (or 443.2m if you add the tip), the WTC was 417/415m (or 526.7m) and the fin that is what we see here is about 1/3 of the Reapers size.MaximizedAction wrote...

Possibly. Gotta love how the characters are just staring at the beam as though in a trance in this picture.
Assuming you're not joking.
Those outer spikes are pretty high.
If those are indeed Reaper capital ships then it's not the Sovereign class ones we've seen. Any Reapers from the end sequence of ME2 that have huuuge ass backs? Either there are Reapers who can extend their back (the Destroyer in London got massive gun on it, so it's possible).
But I think it wouldn't be a too big of a deal for the Reapers to just build that thing. After all, it could have the purpose of luring Shep there. That's a goal that's probably worth such an investment.
You could only argue that there are 3 smaller ones that look identical, though I agree I would just say they are downscaled.

Hudson did issue one statement waaaay waaay back in what seemed like the 5th century BC.
They wanted the ending to be open to interpretation as well as to keep people talking. Mac wanted 'speculations for everyone. To them, every interpretation is valid.
They only thing bioware has vehemently denied is more post-ending DLC and now Shepard in ME4.

1. It makes in my opinion pretty clear that the Beacon on Thessia is tainted by Reapers.
2. Notice what Liara says? "But now asari see everything as a cosmic whole. There is a universal energy from which all living things are formed." Synthesis anyone?
