Yup. However, I do not think that the (possible) ending content will confirm IT. I think it'll simply restructure the London mission, make it able to see your war assets in action, and see your decisions matter more during the final battle. Possibly, it'll also feature a reunion scene between Shepard and your LI in the high EMS destroy ending.

I fail to see how post-breath-scene content can leave the situation as open to both literal and IT interpretation.
Because Shep wakes up after the war is won. If IT is true then the Reapers are still here and there's still a battle to fight.
Unless Harbinger gets mentally insane after failing an indoctrination attempt and selfdistructs.
They already released the EC to modify some stuff that they missed or that was too far to understand the ending as literal. If there is ever going to be post-ending content I think it won't be changing soemthing during the game, but only adding afterwards.

I think eventually BW will have to make a stand to let all of us know what they meant by their artistic integrity.

Uhm... My scenario does involve the IT being false after all.

Bioware stands by their content. Either that or they are hedging their bets hoping the people that like/accept the ending > those who don't like the ending.

There's quite a few pro-enders who didn't like the Earth mission the way it is

Even dreman999 doesn't like Priority Earth as is

and many IT'ers are happy as well, because they believe it is true. just because there are some who belive either IT is true or not, does no make it so.

and I have not met many (if any) literalists who is happy with the ending, they may not think IT is true, but they still think the endings are garbage.

in fact the only true happy ones are the very Passionate IT'ers......

That, uhhh... that really wasn't what I meant. I said that they'd expand on all endings, and that the destroy ending wouldn't end with a cut to black, but be expanded on, as in seein Shepard getting saved by a group of soldiers.

The literal ending is the biggest garbage ever.

But IT is not the end of Mass Effects plot. IT truly remains an unfinished narrative.

Can anybody take Seival seriously after ME3?

He seemed good enough at the beginning, producing productive threads about the ending. Then, he created the control thread, which was his first step down the road of complete lunacy. He delved deeper and deeper into those realms, creating threads like the stargazer support thread, the Normandy crash scene support thread. By the time he created the 2nd ultimate endings support thread, there was nothing left of the old Seival.

I don't get it. Whats the big deal? We knew right away, that if IT is any sort of true - we only get something of a confirmation at the end of DLC cycle. If at all in this game and not the next. Now - recent news - about Shepard not being in ME4 (or whatever it is) - if at all true - they are good news. If IT is any truth at all (I say "if" here, just being polite) - then this is them straight out telling us to chill and not to worry - it will be adressed in the DLC. Simple as that. So far only one DLC is out. And 1 - it is awesome, 2 - it is about nothing but indoctrination. Now I bet that Omega WILL NOT be any sort of IT reveal. But it will be close to it, and it will be awesome. And btw, while we're at it - name one ME DLC that isn't any good? (besides pinnacle - MP has that niche covered)

sorry if I was a little harsh, Ive been away for awhile.....

but, no IT can be a way to finish the game. 


-shepard loses consiousness at the crash 
-engages a metal battle with harbinger.
-shepard defeats the "king" reaper, maybe he is like the reaper "hub" and the damage filters out to the other reapers.
-shepard wakes on earth.

there, thats exactly what we saw, nothing more is needed.....it just depends on how you look at the same ending. 

however, if people do want another DLC, i made this ending up for fun if you want to look at it....

If the endings are greatly expanded upon, even changed to the point where you can tell the catalyst that the reason for it's construction wasn't to create peace, but to solve a problem that didn't really exist in the first place, would you still think so?

None of that is going to make me believe Hudson and Walters can deliver a cohesive and satisfying narrative going forward. I'll still think they couldn't come up with a proper conclusion to their own story. Combine that with their terrible pr and I won't be trusting them with any narrative again. No IT content means they have lost a customer.
