I hope it is only playable after the coup... That would seem like the appropriate time to do a Cerberus mission pack.spotlessvoid wrote...
So if Omega is playable at any point like Leviathan, how much can they really reveal?
However, if you can play it at any time, there might be references to Mars. Not much about Cerberus could be revealed such early in the game. I don't see how they could make it work.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this from the same guy that had the whole list of rumoured upcoming DLC? And called the Retaliation DLC by name, as well as the Venom shotgun and Executioner pistol by name? If so, take it with a slightly smaller bucket of salt.
I have to admit though, it certainly looks like a believable storyline. It even sets up Protheans in MP, and we are short a Sentinel and Vanguard.

What kind of trap can the citadel be other than what it already is?

The keepers have been largely ignored since ME1, you would think that after the Reapers invaded, they would remove the keepers, due to Shepard knowing they work for the Reapers.

Now Omega looks like a good one. I might have to get it if reviews say it gives good info and doesn't just skirt the issue of things. I'm not nuts about two hours of fighting straight. Hopefully it will be a mix of stuff and options for conversations to learn things. Collectors back? Harbinger back? I was glad to be done with them. They creeped me out massively. Worse than reapers.
Are IT people from this thread going to start a spoiler thread with details about it? I'd prefer to read reviews from people here rather than others who just value something for gameplay rather than story.
Edited to add: IF Guardian is true and not over dramatized, it should trigger changes to the ending rather than just dialogue with the brat. Honestly, if you find secrets about civilizations and all that other stuff, wouldn't that change treatment of the citadel? It's probably going to be set up so you learn stuff but have no ability to change outcomes (obviously), but if you learn anything that hints to what you see the citadel as once you go through that beam, wouldn't that change things massively from Shepard's perspective? I'd be all over it as Shepard. I'd clear it of people and be looking for a way to keep it out of reaper control. So that's got to be way more exaggeration about Guardian than what we'll get because as they make it seem, it should put the citadel at a level of almost lockdown. And what happened to that data file from Vigil on Ilos (was it vigil?)? I'd hope someone got that and decided to get into the system and start investigating asap. Edi would be perfect. But nope. None of that will happen because it would be something smart shepard would do. Turn their weapon against them before they even know it.

That is brilliant. Bioware are Masters of illusion. They have already done this before, said the ending was a "Perfect Illusion" yet so many people still think it is real!

KotOR- You are Revan, the previous Dark Lord of the Sith, Youtube search "KotOR Revelations" you should find my favorite in-game cutscene.
Jade Empire - Master Li, your lifelong mentor and teacher turns out to be the Great Emperor Sun Li, the Glorious Strategist. And he orchestrated the entire game so he could seize control (a 20 year long plan) Look up the ending where you submit to his foresight and let him eliminate you so his plan will become complete. Chilling ending.
And now Neverwinter Nights!

Mass Effect is too great a story for it not to follow the same rule as those other wonderful games. No wonder Gamble, Casey, and all of them get mad at people. Sometimes it feels so obvious...
