Still catching up but wanted to quote this because it explains exactly how  I feel. Many others might be getting to this point as well. Of all the IT threads, this one has been the most sluggish. We're running out of things to talk about. We've heard less and less from Bioware over time. How much further can this go on? It's starting to turn into a cruel joke. Did Shepard die or not? Did we stop the Reapers or not? Was the end real or not? Why are we still asking this!

I wish I could move on because it would be healthier than living in a made up universe every day hoping you'll find a new clue that will make everything make sense again. I'm getting tired of the ambiguity. Either come out and say IT is false or true but don't leave me in limbo for several more months. This is beyond fair.

I have a very easy target to go for on this matter: the end of the DLC cycle.

Do we even know when it ends?

if it ends if feb that means they may - at best - only squeeze out one more DLC
April  - June 22 = EC (3)
June 22 --Aug 29 == Leviathan (2)
Aug 29 -- Nov 27 == Omega (3)
Nov 27 -- Feb == Last? (3)

It  seems that the DLC takes about 2 - 3 monts (approx) to make, test, and release. Granted this is taking the dlc dev cycle as "once they finish one they start work on the next" and don't develop all DLC simultaneously.

I cannot comment on Bioware's Dev cycle - I can only observe. (from ashes doesn't count as that should have been in the game)

"It'll be the last one if I have anything to say about it. This nightmare finally ends today." - Commander Shepard

Umm...
That's not a Shepard quote...
That's Garrus on Earth...
Walk away from him and come back without having spoken to him...

Turian: "It's a shame to see another planet get hit like this."
Garrus: "It'll be the last one if I have anything to say about it. This nightmare finally ends today."
Turian: "You really think the Reapers can be defeated?"
Garrus: "I know they can. That whole Sovereign business a few years ago... he was the first to die. Now all his friends will, too."

What the hell? I didin't write that! Notice how "Banshee" and "Ownage" are 2 words there? My name is connected... Who's trying to screw me over? Posted Image

Edit: And it doesn't even have the "wrote..." after it!

You did...

Yes and no. Sorry, I didn't know it was from there. That entire list was actually copy/pasted. I didn't gather the quotes and I haven't read them in a while. My bad.

I remember gathering quotes regarding nightmares from the game files a while back. I think I posted it here so the original list could be from me.

Lol, Shepard is on the Lone Wolf banner. It's funny because Shepard is nothing without his squad. Last time he did a mission without his squad, he got knocked out by Object Rho. And when he went to communicate with the Leviathans (without his squad) the Leviathans enthralled Shepard, and his squad saved Shepard from the Reaper forces...

Then the beam run - alone...

Edit: Posted Image someone post.

He wasn't alone the entire beam run. After the squad evacuated, he was blasted by Harbinger...

Que weirdness starting at squad exit.

Tell that to the super Control and Synthesis supporters.... If IT is proven true through DLC (I know it to be true :P) Banshee, would everyone really be happy and impressed?

Haha you did spam post Banshee

You know what?  At this point, I don't give a **** about what the extreme Control and Synthesis supporters think.  They're the ones who have been giving us crap since this started.  They deserve a big, fat slice of humble pie.  And if they don't like it, then they can just not buy the DLC, and live in their illusion.

On the subject of the Lone Wolf banner, I know it's supposed to be Sheploo but when I first saw it I assumed it was just a generic soldier, possibly because I'm not as familiar with Sheploo's appearance being a FemShep player. A common theme since Arrival has been established: bad things happen when Shepard is alone. It's kind of like leaving the Doctor alone with the TARDIS. Many have long pointed out the strangeness of the evac sequence, even post-EC. What squad-mates wouldn't follow Shepard to the end, injured or not at that point? Don't they know bad things happen when Shepard goes Lone-Wolfing? After the Suicide Mission, it should be established that the squad will do anything for Shepard (and she'd do anything for them). There's all sorts of "wtf" going on regarding the beam rush.

EDIT: Blur, a literalist would say the Reapers are defeated on the Citadel and it's not a "dream hallway" at all.

+2 But I had an idea that those ending would stay the same. It would either be an alternate reality where they happen, or simply us not seeing anything else in those endings. Just throwing it out there. Personally though, I would prefer to see an indoctrinated Shep.

Wtf moments like Javik not going!

Yeah, but it's cool nonetheless. It's not the crucible though. You defeat them with/at the crucible in literal.

Hmmm, that is interesting, isn't it?

Those two pictures are an odd choice to combine together:  Citadel hallway after the Conduit run and a video projection of Harbinger.

Nice catch on the Predator, and all the other banners! I wonder if there are any other banners worth noting... Haha I remember the "Synthesis EDI Mathemagician" banner before Retaliation discussion

I just watched Leviathan and remembered how awesome it was the first time I saw Leviathan's epic speech at the end. Then I remembered that he never showed up at the end and I died a little bit inside.

Reminds me of when you see Harbinger in the Arrival "vision" with the black thing behind him and the red surrounding space

"So make the reveal the final DLC. Not only does that make sense from a storytelling perspective, but then all the previous DLC sells anyway"

what's the worst that can happen?

Fanrage 2.0?

More publicity for a game that's finished it's cycle anyways. The bottom line doesnt get hurt. My guess is Bioware feels the same way about synthesis supporters as we do anyways.... haha

IT can also set up some amazing sequel in this cycle even without commander shepard.

For real. Screw the beam run. How about Harbinger gets a Leviathan orb enema. How is there no Leviathan orbs being used in London?

I have a time machine.  It's name is Mr. Frying Pan. It's only good for traveling to the future, though.
