Again - all i'm saying - try to entertain the idea - think of his office as of a giant green screen room. If you're making a movie in a green screen room - you only need the to have items that characters touch, pick up, or interact in anyway physicly as props - everything else, including other character - may not be real.
For example you need to shoot a scene between two characters in a green screen room. All they do is talk - they do not touch each other in any way, do not pass each other solid objects - do not interact in anyway - besides talking - in that scenario it is perfectly reasonable to shoot only ONE actor at a time. Green screen is very difficult to light the correct way, and all the lighting that gets on the actor is more or less final - what you see is what you get - so if the scene is difficult - it may be a good idea to do one actor at a time, especially if they move - so not to mess up the lighting, when two of them are in the same shot - you first film the one of the for the shot when they are together, then film the other one - then combine them into one shot in post. That's how you do real life movies.

Dude, if the first room was fake, why even build the real one? At no point in the game does Shepard see that real room via hologram. She only ever sees it when she assaults Cronos Station.
Are you saying TIM built that entire room knowing ahead of time that Shepard was gonna assault his base, and built that room when he could just as easily have claimed the room was on a different station and not bothered building a new room?
I'm trying to be nice, but your 'TIM is a Reaper, no actually he's Cronos Station now because the Reaper is dead, also there are hologram rooms just for the lulz' is pretty crazy and doesnt make sense on multiple levels.
Anyhow, I'm going to bed now.

That scene is really like vendetta setting you up for an illusion that your about to see - The citadel is in position over earth, the reapers a preparing to finish their harvest - "You find yourself on a calm beach - waves genly strike the shore..." - you the think they say to you when the put you under hypnosis. And that makes sense with don't overstay your welcome - your near a reaper! Kai leng was ther just to keep you there for enough time.

Considering we are just about to do the massive assult on Earth I would guess that once resistance has been fought down Hacket sends in a few teams to recover the most obviuos assets (like the parts of the Proto Reaper) and then blows it to hell as Shepard asked him too.
After all he cannot leave a sizeable force to deter any Cerberus attempts at taking it back as he needs those soldiers at Earth, safer and faster to just blow it up.
