From that thread

Starchild is like someone robbing you at gunpoint, then you disarm him and take the gun. He then says:

"I know you're thinking of killing me. But there's a better solution. Kill yourself, and I promise I'll never rob anyone again"

Seems a lot of you would be laid out on the floor, bleeding profusely from a self inflicted gun shot wound to the head.

"Or you can help me rob everybody. That way I will have become rich, and will have no need to rob anyone else. But you must die so I can use your death to steal from everybody."

lol, the response: I would just turn the robber in.....completely missed the point.

Control:

The robber says "lets rob people together! Best friends right? Awesome, now let me get my gun back..."

So, I went into that thread, saw one of the replies was someone claiming that killing even a single Reaper amounts to genocide, and closed the topic.

I dont hate myself nearly enough for that level of bull****.

I'm in an argumentative mood. It relieves stress even though it accomplishes little else for me.

Huh. Ashley's body is in the pile of dead corpses found on the Collector Cruiser in ME2. Several of them, infact, the same as the ones in ME3.

Weird. Especially considering in this playthrough she's alive. Why would there be a pile of armoured corpses when everyone taken was a colonist?

oh that's just reused assets

Well we all relieve stress in different ways. This is verbal chess to me.

I'm just confused why its in ME2.  Foreshadowing?  But then why Ashley, and not Kaiden?

May be a coincidence.   Doesn't explain why dead colonists are wearing armour though.  Or why its the same colour as Ashley's.

Main reason we raised an eyebrow in ME3 was because those piles weren't there before Harbinger's beam.  Art assets can be overlooked.  But...  Yeah, I'm confused.  A lot of little things in ME2 confuse me.

I don't see how. Chess is played with another intelligent person capable of understanding the rules. This is trying to place chess with a rabid chimp who throws the board at you and craps on the table.

Ashley's armor may be standard issue for planetside marines?

My initial thought as well.  However, the colonists on Horizon were rather anti-Alliance, and its suggested they don't even have a Marine detachment on the planet when one of them talks about not being a viable target for attack until the defense cannons were installed.

I guess they might be from other colonies, but...  Its still weird.

Oh, and Harbinger just called me a Bacteria.  How caring and protective of him.

the body pile doesnt matter. if you zoom in at the top of the hill, you can see the piles at the bottom by the beam, before the knock out.

So... Weird looking Krogan, ok looking Asari, Shuriken still doesn't kill crap. I guess the Collectors come after Bloodpack?
If someone manages to watch it once it's out a recap would be nice.

And Javik.  I can see no possible scenario where Javik would run away from that.  If you chopped off both his legs, he'd try to crawl to the beam.

And if you cut off his arms he'd use his lips to drag himself across the dirt so he could bite Harbinger's toe.

As for WoW, I'd never recommend it to anyone.  Its a great game, but its such a time vampire that I wish I'd never got so involved with it.  And parts of it are creepy as all hell.

I HATE Crystal Lake.

And I play Rift and I'm just fine with it :P

Pfft. Rift.

Only other MMO in the works that I'm interested in is Elder Scrolls. And I'm being very tentitive with that - but recent information has given me hope that it won't be a WoW clone or a cheap Skyrim mod-job.

RM....exactly. Where are the geth too?

For that matter, the Beam run is portrayed as the entire galaxy's last hope. I know I'd want Krogan charging with me bare minimum. Where IS everyone!? Why is sword humans only?

Where is your squad, you know the ones who charged a Reaper with you on Tuchanka?

Oh right they had a complete five seconds character deconstruction and are not going to charge dwon the hill with Shepard despite the beam beeing the supposedly only hope we have...seriusly I cant believe how out of character everyone is in that scene...especially EDI as her body has nothing to fear.

I'm still reeling that my squad was never seen charging but rather flying off on a ship. They should have made it so that they were all in the charge and you see them all getting injured, maybe something like the suicide mission and then shepard calls for the normandy to get them out of there because they are all too injured to make it to the beam and that shepard wants they to at least have a shot of surviving rather than a charge where they would all die senseless deaths. That would have been better than just the two squaddies. It would have been also a nice way to go out because honestly, if Shepard had to die, I'd at least want it to be just before a full squad charge and then rescue for them after they've all been injured but could survive but just not charge the beam. That would have been moving and made it look better than only having two there. Cheap with the visuals BW was. They screwed a nice opportunity there.

What I wish they would do in the next generation systems is have one game take place in a certain province, then release games that add on provinces and such until they have all of Tamriel on your machine and then they can just add new quests and change history, geogrophy, and borders with updates.

Ugh, I should be a Bethesda developer. Nobody has done anything like that idea and it would be great. No need for an MMO, just a vast fantasy world with a real continent that would take hours or days to traverse by foot with new content added all the time for money or sometimes for free.

A man can dream, I guess. :(
