Wait, the ITer is saying us "literalists" are looking for a last refuge? Last I recall it was the ITers who desperately scramble looking for stuff that supposedly proves IT.

The Extended Cut wiped clean the IT. All the "eveidance" you have to support it may still be there, but It is still just a bi-product of the bad ending ME3 has before the EC. If the ending was good, a large portion of the fanbase wouldn't go out of their way simply to try to say that that wasen't the "real" ending.

I want to take Casey Hudson and Mac Walters by their hair, push their faces into a computer monitor showing BSN and say " Look at what you have wrought. I honestly have worse personal things to deal with in my life than people who think the Reapers are carebears who just want to help Shepard make the world a better place after slaughtering sapients for millions of years..

The multiplayer forum is alright until a battle ensues over which weapon to nerf next or until the next pissing contest starts. The biggest annoyance there IMO are the anti-lore, rabid COD fans who want every it of nonsense ranging from playable elcoor to hanar spectres. They basically want MP to be a generic horde mode with Mass Effect skins that has 0 connections to the SP game.

Bioware... wait, no, sorry EA wanted the Halo, GoW BF, CoD, and MoH players to come play ME3 and marketed to them. I happen to just overlap into those games but I wouldn't presume to try to change this IP to make it just like all the other shooters.

Well, the game does establish the Elcor warriors are walking tanks. I'd love to play one.
As for Hanar, Zaeed says they are not to be underestimated. I'd love to have a Hanar infiltrator with Biotic Strangle.

Truly, why do you? They are not intelligent people. The fact that they can't even see IT at all is like they are a group of individuals that couldn't get through the required high school or college reading in a literature class. Sure, they could read the stories, some of the best ones history has to offer us, but they would never see beyond the words of the page, never notice themes, never ponder certain events or actions and attitudes of character. They would just read the story or probably the cliff notes and gain nothing from it and they would also probably think the class or classes were a stupid waste of time. That's the group you are letting get to you. The least insightful beings on the planet who don't even get that mass effect was about the story more so than the game but because of how the gaming industry has developed ME was forced to become more mainstream and in so opened itself to a lot of gamers who don't care about story. These are the people who care more about making games harder to beat and giving them more things to kill but do not care about the story at all or even the depth of the story. Story to them is irrelevant.
I actually feel sorry for them. I know these people. I tutored the likes of them in college. College, for them was a pain in the neck, a thing they had to do so they could get a job that made them more money so they could buy cooler cars and better clothes and maybe one day a fancy home. These people persistently gained nothing from their classes. Philosophy? Lost on them? Even within their majors, they barely understood the basic principles required from that degree because they never truly assimilated the knowledge. That is the group you are letting get to you. How do you think they will fare in life as they get older? Not very well. AT ALL.

True that, a Hanar or Elcor on the battlefield is nothing strange going by ingame lore. Personally I would love to see Rachni in the multiplayer, I mean we did see those Biotic using Rachni in ME1, could be quite nice...off course they might want to rely on their natural acid and not guns
