Maybe...we're indoctrinating them. After all it is an insidious means of changing someone's way of thinking and if we can indoctrinate their leaders entire nations will fall overnight. Javik can tell you more what happened to his culture.
Speaking of Javik. Anyone know why we are so trusting of a single Prothean when we know next to nothing about their culture or their species? After all isn't it strange that Liara looks at Javik with suspicious awe and is getting suggestions from him that changes her way of thinking?

It was really cool, and I like how they directly compared Saren to a Banshee! I mean hey - they're both synthesis.

and as far as I know all the regulars voted. I left it open to see if anyone else votes.

The thing is, that under the circumstances - Javik is actually more trustworthy than Liara. Liara in ME3 is just weird. Like, for example - the thing she does in her goodbye conversation in priority earth - what the hell was that all about, and is that supposed to mean?
With Javik we at least know where he's coming from - before we got him out Shaprd gets to expirience last memories of Javik for himself without Javik having any control or knowledge over it. He may not be a defining represantative of the Protheans - but he is what he is.

hate to say it but how do you know? We fought most of his race in ME 2. He was on a ship filled with indoctrinated people. And the big hint. What if the preview of him before he goes into stasis was not real but in part a hallucination? For all we know he walked into stasis already as indoctrinated as Shepard is (orzo we all are claiming that is)

That has nothing to do with the theory's validity. It's just what I think is going on. Most people obviously don't like the theory (That's what it looks like, at least), and since several moderators have told people to stay away, they probably just don't give a damn.spotlessvoid wrote...

Javik's entire existence is to kill Reapers. Javik is also (for now) the last of the Protheans, the Race more advanced than the current cycle. Javik would be a valuable asset on any team. The only inconsitancy that Javik shows is when he evacs during the beam run. Javik simply will never do that. He won't falter like that.demersel wrote..

Javik is a more experienced version of Shepard. I'm not saying he couldn't be indoctrinated. However, I highly doubt they would release a day one dlc with a squadmater that will turn out to be, in future dlc, indoctrinated. Moreover, I think we can all agree the farewell scene with Javik makes no sense whatsoever.BatmanTurian wrote...

You've got way more than 46 too. Support for IT exists outside this thread and outside these forums. It's an attractive answer for the somewhat ambiguous ending. Many people like it for different reasons, but many people like it nonetheless, and the group ranges from casual players to hardcore players, from ending lovers to ending haters, from players with little connection to the story to others obessed with the franchise...demersel wrote...

The fact that IT gets brought up by professional journalists when talking about the game's aftermath speaks for itself...

They could never argue with it anyway.
They have been recycling the same points over and over again(well not anymore since they don't post) back in spring.
It got really boring, proving the same points to be false again and again.

Synthesis Javik is just idiotic. they could have at least put his name on the board and alluded to him committing suicide. But we all know why they didn't do that. Synthesis changes everyone fundamentally down to the core of their conciousness.
