Aria... Help is on the way...

I agree.  Hold on Aria!  I'm coming to help!  Now why oh why can't the 27th be tomorrow? :crying:

I sure hope there'll be more to it than Aria getting Omega back.  I couldn't give even a fraction of a damn about Aria.

Don't worry, there will also be Collectors.  Not IN Omega but AROUND it. ;)

If we all say aloud at once that today is the 27th, it'll happen.

I found this interesting. I was reading through this thread and found something I did not realize. Apparently, if you did not play ME2, canon shep destroys the Collector Base. It's a big leap in logic, but it would make sense that canon shep would choose Destroy as well.

Canon shep gets indoctrinated and is busy getting melted down :3

What exactly do you mean?

That was a joke.

It's probably still true though.  Non-import Shepards tend to have made some mindblowingly bad decisions.  I recall back in the ME2 days hearing someone put it aptly, "default Shepard just ran around the galaxy being a jackass getting everyone he possibly could killed."

That's VERY accurate.  There's a reason that one of DefaultShep's nicknames is FailShep.  I can never bring myself to play a fresh start.  Too many sucky choices that I would never make.

I did a fresh playthrough of ME3. Samara was dead. Jack was brainwashed. Legion was an AI.

True, but if you look it in another way: there is suspicion the council and other high ranking members could be indoctrinated, and a new council has much less exposure. Esp if you compare the old council and the new one in ME3 you can see that the new one at least sounds much more open minded. They still can't give you what you want, but they sound like they are listening and are not just airquoting.

Hu? I played ME3 with a non import Shep and never even encountered Jack nor Legion.

In ME2 Shepard either allows Legion to join his crew or passes it to Cerberus for disassembly. How is it possible then that in ME3 (non-import playthrough) Legion is not only with the geth, but also a stranger to Shepard?

Wasn't Jack mentioned as a name of one of the Phantoms on Cronos?

That is not Legion, it's a backup created before Legion meets Shepard.

Legion isn't in a non-import playthrough...

Not if you don't import...
You have to import with Jack alive and fail to do Grissom Academy in time...

During the geth dreadnought mission. It tells you itself, and if you bring Tali with you she says "That's not Legion, Shepard. Not really. It's a VI program, likely from a backup."
And after that in pretty much every conversation you have with it "We are not Legion"

No it's Legions recovered platform. You cannot simply make a backup of a Geth.

Well, I guess canon Shepard handed Legion to Cerberus (before he even got his name) and that's why I didn't get "We are not Legion" line.

Damn it there are 15 pages to go through and so much stuff to talk about too but i'm too tired...

the stuff about the child and parenthood is very interesting... in the third dream Shepard comforted the kid almost as if they were related...

anyway i gotta sleep but one thing before i do... restrider's poll got me thinking about liara, cos she's such a paragon poster-girl...

but in ME2 as an information brojer, she does start to gain quite a lot of power, and does head down the renegade route quite a bit, similar to garrus... but it made me think of something else...

the power she wields as the shadow broker... isn't liara choosing to become the new shadow broker extremely similar to the Control choice at the end? she could've destroyed the base and reset the information trade to ground zero, but instead took the power, harnessed it... any thoughts?

gn, peace

Non import Shep just leaves Legion deactivated in the AI Core...
If you give it to Cerberus, you get a unique enemy encounter...

He keeps it, but never turns it on either...
