I just had a silly little thought. What if indoctrinated agents were behind the mass adoption of thermal clips? It was a great way to undermine their enemies combat effectiveness!

get a grip guys. The ending will not change. But after leviathan you will have more clues.

The key is this: will leviathan mention the starchild AI? If he does, it will put paid to the "hallucination" theory in the sense that the ending happens in shep's head- unless the dream starts before leviathan's events. Which I find unpalatable.

It will not put payto a theory that the events are an indoctrination attempt, while actually occurring in the real, physical world- but that for me is not IT and is a lot less neat, intellectually fulfilling, and rich.

If Leviathan does not directly corroborate the existence of the AI, then IT is alive and well.

The fact that the ending won't change isn't what matters. It's the evidence, stupid.

He willl probably say that "something" controls the reapers and he broke free, but at that point in the game, shepard doesn't know what that "something" is until he sees casper  starkid.

At this point, currently believeing that the writers "secretly intended the IT to be correct" after the release of the EC DLC is exactly equal to believing that the thing in the box at the end of 'Seven ' was a ham sandwich, or that Obi Wan Kenobi was meant to be Luke Skywalker come back from the future to guide himself.

You can believe anything you want if that's how you derive entertainment, and there's nothing wrong with it. But if there can be a "truth" about the structure of a fictional work it is that that which the author intended is the actuality. ME's writers do not intend IT to be the valid end. It shows even more from Chris's post from the deleted thread.

First off, if we're talking MP, shockwave is entirely pointless on a human vanguard. Entirely pointless.

Second, whether or not we're talking MP, you only get one shotgun at a time masster.

And a novaguard is still going to beat a krogan everytime no matter what shotgun he has.

Shockwave is totally indispensable. I use it a lot to throw Banshees, Brutes and Atlases off balance and then pack them with bullets.

I headed butted Banshees,Brutes,Atlases, and Primes, and I kill them with just that.:D

Didnt someone in ME3 say that indoctrinated human leaders on Earth were passing laws against interfering with Reaper operations?

I think there was a brief mention of how indoctrinated leaders became a problem. Not sure why I am linking that to Javick or the protheans, but I for some reason I am. There was some comment made about indoctrinated leaders. I remember something. Even if not there was the hannar which was an example of such a thing and working off that example you know there's not just one of them. We have three we know of that were in powerful places that were indoctrinated, Saren, Tim and the Hannar diplomat plus all their minions. That serves as a template to say anyone could be indoctrinated given there is the opportunity and they don't have the mind or will or people close enough to them to help them fight it.

Is it. Is it right not to be pissed off at Casey for what happened, and I really don't care about what he wants either. If he really want's us to speculate, then he has to come on the BSN, and face the music of the fans, He had evey chance to tell us what happened, and he could have at least given us a heads up on the endings before ME3 was released.

But As I said I don't hate Casey, but I want answers from him, even thought he may not give a s*** about us, I want answers, as does everyone else.

Okay, let me tell you this: Why would a creator of a award-winning trilogy suddenly say that their ending is crap before release? I mean, That makes no sense! Casey is obviously proud of the endings he made, and he probably expected many fans to like it, too.

But, they didn't.

Shockwave is pointless. Not only pointless but it prevents you from fully maxing out the other skill trees the human vanguard has if you have even one point in it.

Its detrimental to the class.

Yes, and that's why a lot of fans are not speculating, because they are pissed of at Bioware, and I don't blame them, but they have no right to go f bome on everyone on the BSN.

But Casey has to remember that we the fans hold Biowares fate because we provide them the money, and we can take that way.

I am just saying once people realize this they will do this, and thus the end of Bioware.

I like Schockwave and use it. It helps with those opponents I mentioned. Especially with Banshees which are super fast if not electricuted.

You know something, it looks to me that there is a reflection of a Reaper in the water, where Shepard's nosie is pointing at.

It does have a sovereign-like outline.
I've actually not played ME1 since 2010, I should totally give it another playthrough at some point

If we want to give the writers and creators credit we could go with the angle that not admitting it is just another level to it as the indoctrinated person rarely sees they are indoctrinated. In rare cases with strong minds they will recognize it when it's pointed out to them by the right people at the right moments - saren and benezia... So telling the masses they've just been indoctrinated would ruin the kick of the fact that you just indoctrinated the majority of your audience. There's something kind of cool about that too. No we don't get validation but we also destroyed the reapers which was the only logical choice based on millions of years of harvesting.

You really think that the only source of income for Bioware are from those lunatics who mindlessly hate them on the BSN? No.

Think about all the casual gamers and casual fans Bioware are selling their products to! They're not on the BSN. Only the hardcore fanbase is here, and honestly, they make up a small part of Bioware's supporters. So no, even if some people would stop giving Bioware their money, it wouldn't matter because they make up such a small part of the Bioware fanbase!

Face it: Bioware's survival doesn't hinge on the money from a few pissed off fans.
