Didnt someone in ME3 say that indoctrinated human leaders on Earth were passing laws against interfering with Reaper operations?

Both Anderson and EDI mention it.

I think it was a different species but I may be wrong. Batarians?

No, most of the batarians are dead. No one cares about them enough to talk about them.

i hate them, but I don't want them to all die, from what Garuss told me there was one Batarian that was in his squad, and there are some Batarians that are good, but people see them as the bad guys, but in truth they havea point about Humanity just becoming a Council race, so quickly.

That is why if there is to be a united galaxy, then every race must be on the Councli to call the unitd galaxy a reality.

I just had a silly little thought. What if indoctrinated agents were behind the mass adoption of thermal clips? It was a great way to undermine their enemies combat effectiveness!

Not important but I'm interested in what people think.

But thermal clip increase effectiveness. lol No cooldown.

He doesn't. It's just another cryptic non-answer.

Sorry, I got linked to the wrong comment.

More banter and squad member dialog? Like should have been in the original and probably will have nothing to do with anything relevant but perhaps past events.

I'll only get it if I hear it's super awesome and worth my $10. If even a few people call it meh, I'll stil with what I've got.

No. Putting races into the council that don't deserve it is not smart.

Also, just because a few batarians are good doesn't justify what they're doing. As a N@zi race that holds slaves, their government needs to be destroyed so that a democracy can rise.

Reliance on supply lines to get new thermal clips would be bad for the people fighting, though.

Thats why the protheans used the particle rifle:

After the Reapers obliterated the Prothean Empire's warships, the Prothean resistance was forced to develop weapons that did not rely on intact supply lines. The Prothean Particle Rifle is a stripped-down, powerful assault rifle modified to fire without thermal clips or specialized ammunition

Going from almost never running out of ammo to commonly running out of ammo isn't really an improvement.

Yes but still there should be, if there is to be peace, after the war, then everyone should have a a place on the councli, for helping end the Reaper threat. just like Humanity stoped our old Reaper friend  and gained a place on the councli, so do the other races do to. plus it will help rebuild the galaxy to a better future for the next Me cycle.

If there is to be any race that should be granted a seat on the council, then it should be the krogan. And those guys don't even have an embassy. Batarians weren't essential. Vlous weren't essential, and the hanar and elcor sure as hell weren't essential in anything.

Basically, the weaker races shouldn't be granted a place on the council, lest they begin thinking of themselves too importantly.

Races that aren't part of council space or have a citadel embassy have no place in the council.

But you can fire constantly without worrying about overheating the weapon right before killing your enemy. Of course, it's better to have a self-contained weapon that doesn't need clips but it's just the way it is. Posted Image

Humanity got it because Shep sacraficed thousands of humans to save a few idiot council members who did nothing but hinder the process of fighting the reapers. Paragon should have been to let them die given they doubted everything that turned out to be true and proved to be a hardcore liability through the entire series.

in order to rebuild the galaxy after the war with the Reapers is over the Council races need to realize that if they were united in the first place they could have stood a better chance against the reapers. If they countinue down a path that takes thousands of years to pass a race to be on the Council, then it will be to late, if a new problem arises. Besides don't the other races deserve to be on the Council seat, after the war with the Reapers? I do because they have been fighting so hard to fight for their homes, and protect the councli races. besides with out the help of the non Council races, we would have already lost the battle.

You know something, it looks to me that there is a reflection of a Reaper in the water, where Shepard's nosie is pointing at.

It does have a sovereign-like outline.
I've actually not played ME1 since 2010, I should totally give it another playthrough at some point

Well Michael even went out and said in the demo showing that the DLC will be mainly focussed on story. And it's about the origin of the Reapers. Seems to be wasted potential if they just told us details we already know, so it's got to be big if they made a DLC for it.
