College keeps me busy, but I'm sticking around for a while.

I felt kinda guilty for not being here. :S

Hey folks. Popping in for a visit. What's new?

Apparently we've been reduced to running around, pointing fingers at everything "J'accuse!"

Also, the ocean did it.

Running around like jacobins? Have we already decapitated someone?

Anyways, I guess female Turian pictures, behind the scenes stuff regarding paragon lost (with a phantom on the Normandy), N7 day tomorrow... I guess that covers the recent "new" stuff.

You know the classic bit....Liara's indoctrinated, Hackett is indoctrinated, Anderson, Glyph etc etc

The Ocean did it is an inside joke from about 20 pages ago. I know Rif gets it

You lot ever look at the anatomy stuff on the right?  I'm no puzzle theorist but it does say something about the 'device' foreshadowing 'reaper anatomy', which would then point to a 'weakness for Reapers'.

Any ideas?  There are obvious sexual connotations for Crucible et al, but what about the anatomical weakness?  Is the Crucible just designed to show us the way to kill Reapers more easily?  Or is the note old and this anatomy stuff was scrapped?

Has this stuff been covered?  Any useful tidbits on the rest besides the oft-cited BNW and Matrix comparisons?

If you go crazy from looking at it, what happens to you if you're the person who created it? :crying:

You stop peaking, come down, and then crash. Couple of days feeling kinda out of it and you're back to whatever you call normal.

Already did.  I spent an entire evening trying to figure out the significance of all the prime numbers in the Vancouver intro mission a few weeks ago.  Somehow my passion for dissecting the game took a bit of a blow after that rather sorry affair.

Also Spot notice that it says end of first Matrix do you know what happened at the end. Neo died, but came back to life because Trinity loved Neo/ she believed in Neo.

Shepard dies in Destroy right if you ems is ****** poor. Now when think about this your ems is Shepard's willpower right so if Shepard believes that we can recover in Destroy, and everyone is working together, then Shepard will wake, or your LI will not think he/she is dead, and Shepard will come back to life.

Trinitys love/ hope for Neo brought him back to life. Now Shepard is brought back to life because of his/her squadmates ( LI for the most) believes Shepard isn't dead so ya.

Oh and " Lot's of speculations for everyone?" Hello that's before the EC, and ME3 came out. So they knew what they were doing especially Mac.

Anatomy of Reapers, but that one's largely been ignored so far...

When I was looking at Hackett being indoctrinated, it did kind of look like he's raping the Citadel with his Crucible, while Shepard opens the 'arms' for him...

What with the Citadel supposedly being objectively beautiful and everything... and humanity thereby raping technology...

But I've learned my lesson before to avoid wildly sepculative stuff.... will probably retire for the night soon... (am mainly trolling the constantly-mulitplying ending hate threads today anyway )

The hope theme is actually characterized in all endings (refuse included). As was already stated multiple times, the slides/speech at the end depicting future events and could easily be Shepard's mind trying to justify his/her decision.
Many say that refuse is a fail for sure, but the fact is that there is hope (through a conventional victory for this cycle {not available yet} or the next cycle {all hail to the archeological department of the University of Serrice}) aswell!

The only thing that is kind of strange is the stargazer scene (with a female). They could've easily copied the other stargazer scene (thus they wouldn't have to pay Buzz Aldrin another time). Or is that somehow forbidden in some VA contracts, to not reuse lines?

Great points in both cases my good man.

And don't forget that for some frakking reason they wanted the male stargazer scene to be a giant vs. human and female one an Asari(?) with human(?) child.

You know what? This reminds me of the preface of the novel "Fight Club" that was written by Chuck Palahniuk (the author) describing how everything changed after the movie "Fight Club" came out. There he stated that everyone was interpreting the movie/novel differently or telling him that this stuff happens in reality.
For instance, there was this one steward on a trans-atlantic flight that asked him, if "Fight Club" was - in reality - about gay men observing themselves having sex in a steam bath. Chuck said that this interpretation was totally valid and got free drinks in exchange for the rest of the flight.
What I am trying to say is that someone can easily be derailed if you stare into the abyss for too long. Of course it is fun to brainstorm a bit, but we all have to try to not get obsessed with it and lose focus on rather insignificant details that may lead us into the wrong direction.
