Btw that whole "Anderson born in London" thing dates back to Mass Effect: Revelation. It was there in the prologue!!

There's no other sign of civilisation though. No paths, no other benches, no signs...

It just feels out of place.

The structure of a dream can be unpredictable.

The area itself I don't think I've seen in game, any of them, maybe pieces of the citadel foliage, or the small rooftop park the Child is playing at in the beginning.

Interesting... Playing, running through a park. Earth. Charred. Burnt. The child catches fire. Shepard and the child on fire.

Oh, and apperently the Rachni were active during the Prothean's cycle as well. Either they weren't spacefaring at that time, or the Reapers did a sloppy job with harvesting them.

They might not have been at that level of intelligence 50,000 years ago. From what Javik says they were bred for war, and exterminated for growing too strong. By the time the Reapers arrived for the Protheans  the Rachni may have numbered too few on a galactic scale to even be noticable, taking the next 48,000 someodd years to recover their numbers and expand.

Or perhaps they were deemed...Too primative.

Ok now I'm going to bed.

Honestly, the way I see it, that whole "huge piece of logic" bit is what's raising the IT flags for me. Just out of curiousity, exactly what is it that Hendriks is known to do at BioWare? Like has he worked on the other DLC, or just the main game? Because it would almost seem like, if he worked on just the main game, it might be that they are having him work on this piece separate from Citadel...


I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Jos Hendriks is on the multiplayer team, which is totally seperate from the single player team.

Know the feeling man. I had a 2 day straight marathon of designing a lathe. Don't really understand how they expected us to 'design' a lathe considering they havent changed for like 70 years... 3 mothers and a lot of swearing at a computer screen later I just didn't care anymore. :P

I feel as if they need an omega countdown at the top of the forum. I want nothing more than to play it now. And I promised myself I wouldn't get my hopes up...

Besides, I was kinda under the impression that they were done developing MP DLC. I think I read somewhere that Retaliation was going to be the last major MP DLC and the rest would just be minor tweaks...

Never believe that crap unless it's coming from a Bioware employee.  People have been spreading those daft rumors since the first DLC, and if they make 25 more I guarantee people will be spouting it after every single one.

was a big fan of it.  I thought I'd hate it, but I had to play a few matches to get enough EMS for the breath scene (pre-extended cut).  I was hooked by the 2nd match.  Unfortunately, the "balance" team just sucks.  Geth staggerlock people too much?  They say they're looking into it.  Then they give geth more ways to stagger.  New patch made the game harder than intended?  They say they're looking into it.  Then they nerf the most popular classes.  It just stopped being fun IMO.

It's all right. I still get the DLC because, what the hell, it's free DLC. But after EC came out, I had absolutely no reason to really play it anymore, since none of the achievements are multiplayer-specific. I still think it detracts too much from the SP if they focus on MP development... I can't help but thinking how great the game had been without it. And it quite concerns me that they are adding it to DAIII. That wasn't what was missing from that series...

This. Hendriks moved to SP level design. It's in the Twitter thread a few months back. Pretty sure he designed the Leviathan levels or at least part of them.

And what does those three points have to do with IT?

I dont think anyone here expected sweeping changes to the ending based upon Omega dlc and the top two points have nothing to do with IT at all.

Right now I will wait and see what happens on Omega.

I would agree with you, but Gamble's Tweet seemed to imply that it was story releated...
