Oh yeah.  Forgot about that.  Its exactly the same design too.

It just really stood out for me as being out of place.  And now I remembered that...  Well, its kind of an obvious hint.  Its right next to the child in the dream as well, so its not like its hard to find.

Oh hell, are we back to thinking that maybe Shepard never woke up from that first Reaper blast on the judicial chamber?

EDIT: Just watched that video again and blinked hard a few times.  Did that bench disappear when Shepard got up?

I kid you not.  The camera pans along the wall Shepard hit.  I see no bench.

I'm curious... how literalists can explain this from their POV?

Hmm. I don't know what it means, but I'm betting the bench was never there in the first place. It looks like a park bench, like it belongs in a park or forest such as in the dream. You don't find benches like that indoors. Especially in places like high end Alliance officials' meeting chambers. You find plush chairs, maybe a couch. A bench though?

The bench is a symbol of all the furniture Shepard could've salvaged before leaving Earth.

Someone needs to mark this down as evidence that Shepard is hallucinating from the very beginning of the game...

That pic unambigously shows that FemShep isn't herself during the course of ME3. Posted Image How did it come to this, BioWare?

Jos HendriksYes! One giant freaking piece of logic done! You won't know what it is for a while yet but I hope you'll like it. :)

Interestingly, Jos has commented on a thread in the multiplayer section that the tweet may not specifically be in regards to ME3's multiplayer...

LOTS OF SPECULATION FOR EVERYBODY!!!

That is something interesting.  Giant "logic".  Not "gameplay", not "character design", not "a trailer".  It's just interesting that they specifically reference the addition of logic into something, like they admit that some is needed in places.  Couple that with the idea that BW is a little cagey with some heavy story aspects of Omega.  None of the current reviews mention much about the story and there's still not a "why" yet on why we're doing anything on Omega during a galactic extinction event.  So maybe it's something.

Was that Twitter quote in reference to Omega DLC or something further down the road?

And PTSD!  Don't forget PTSD!  PTSD is the reason gas prices are too high and Eddie Murphy hasn't made a decent movie in 15 years.

Logic, in programming-, as opposed to reasoning terms, is everywhere.

Press a button: Door opens.
Come across exhibit A: New dialogue options unlocks.
Grenade hits the ground: Particle- and sound emitters are activated and nearby actors are tested for damage, depending on a number of properties and assigned behaviour- and physics values. These strings of cause and effect can become rather long and complex.

Yeah, the programming aspect was mentioned by me a few pages back. Still, why put such emphasis on such a - more trivial - task. Especially with the reference "but I hope you'll like it!"?
Maybe nothing story related, but a new feature/game mechanic?

That's there for when the Reapers have to indoctrinate old people

I understand the pragmatic viewpoint of what "logic" means and it is possible.  But a door opening or a gun mechanic doesn't sound like a "giant piece of logic" that people "are gonna love".

I was trying to edit my previous post and it seems I hit quote instead. Derp
Anyway, did you get any new conclusions on refuse? you know...about the true hero of ME :P

Seival's sig is the creepiest thing I've seen in this forum.

Yes... all hail the Archeology Department of the University of Serrice.
And, I don't know if you know it, but I am actually kind of pro-Refuse. At my first playthrough, I chose that, though the outcome wasn't that satisfying.
In IT perspective:
I see why people usually say that Refuse is a fail, but it is still superior to Control and by far Synthesis. A few may argue that we see the next cycle discover the Liara VI, but - as I pointed out a few pages back - this is also a vision of hope, easily Shepard's vision.
Only thing weird is the stargazer scene in that ending.

SPOILERS FOR OMEGA FOLLOW.

Regarding this, there's an extraordinarily spoilertastic image on the Omega section of the official ME website - http://na.llnet.biow...121-omega-p.jpg

It basically shows Petrovsky at Aria's mercy. I really can't see them posting something this revealing, unless it takes place relatively early in the story, and it transpires that Petrovsky is not the main villain. Hopefully this means something more significant for the overall story is planned (i.e. some assumption of direct control^_^).

Well, the story, as written by the writers, does need to be wired into the game, if we are to see anything; How it unfolds, the playing out of eyegasmic scenes, etc. (EDIT: I believe implementing a really complex spaghetti flowchart may be well worth some back patting. :7)
Adjutant behaviour, perhaps?

The reliance on destroy as Shepard's waltzing through the indoctrination attempt was always the weak point of IT, as far as I am concerned -- the addition of refuse fixed that for me. :7

Nah.  Just thinking about the nature of the dream-bench.

Even though I wish that awful first part of the game wasn't real...

Really?  Hmm.  Interesting.  Maybe the bench never existed?  Or its a goof.
