Edit: The category is Fridge Logic, just to be more specific.

Doesn't the huge piece of logic sound like it could be a war assets and/or IT ending dlc? Someone said Harbingers voice in MP, but how is that some hard thing to do logic wise, and why would we have to wait so long for it?
I agree. It just doesn't seem like it would just be something simple like adding a few things to multiplayer, or ANYTHING in relation to multiplayer. I think this is single player related, and possibly ending related.

Funny you should mention that. I was just thinking a little while ago that the Turian Female may be Aria's wife. We have never been told who Aria had the daughter with.
EDIT: It's not slash fiction if one of the characters is monogendered and can literally have a child with any sex of any species.
Actually of course not, never mind

Don't look unless you have a few spare neurons you don't mind killing off. Apparently we can't judge the Catalyst because he's operating under a different set of morals.

@ abnocte - The weird lightning-bolt-to-the-head warning sign next to the vent where we meet the kid is another doozy. That coupled with the Reaper growl of frustration (another reference from the novels) and the kid's vanishing act when Shepard is interrupted by Anderson.
OK, now I really am going to bed.
The problem with the Reaper growl its that it means nothing to those of us that haven't read the novels. I don't mind Bioware expanding their products... as long as they aren't required to understand ingame content.

They keep silent about it because it is "the hook". It also keeps people interested in DLC's. They wouldn't tell what they can show.
I assumed that much, but the idea that I need optional, non-free content to understand the main game is disgusting.
If they think their games should cost 100€, so be it, but give me the whole thing from disk.

Actually I've not read the novels either. I learned about it from watching the IT youtube documentaries. You make a fair point, but I think there's enough in the game itself to suggest that something's not quite right. Restrider is compiling a list of the most compelling pieces of evidence, he might have a link in his signature.

I sympathise. I think most of us would have preferred the game to have been a complete and satisfying experience out of the box. However if the IT does lead to good future content, I'll be prepared to forgive Bioware... this time.
The way I look at it, if I had thoroughly enjoyed ME3 from beginning to end, I wouldn't have hesitated to buy all the dlc for it.
If a new piece of DLC provides a terrific new ending that entices me to play the game again, then I'm pretty much in the same place as if the game had this ending to begin with - in both cases I end up with a great game with a great ending, and I'll have ended up spending the same amount of money. Even if the ending was a long time coming.
By the way, I like the Planescape reference in your signature.

Guys! Careful with the easy Op talk they might hear and make the next one impossible-hard.
Not that I wouldn't mind another crack at the 3 mil Banshee buster but I can't say if the majority of the MP community is up to it.

Well, that is the beautiful thing about IT in my opinion. For those that have invested themselves in the Mass Effect universe and played the game for the immersive storytelling and adventure, we get an ending that is emotionally satisfying and complete. We are able to pick up on the subtilties that others would miss. Those that only casually play the games and have not explored the vast universe Bioware has created, will simply take the literal endings at face value.abnocte wrote...

And looking for suggestions for a new ME title! If I had a twitter account I'd suggest going for a sequel, rather than a prequel or midquel. It's very hard to pull the latter two off unless the story has lots of unanswered questions that need resolving.

Fridge Logic means a realization that you come upon later after thinking about the work for awhile, while you are "at the fridge." Fridge Logic is typically a "Hey! Wait a minute! That made no sense!" moment.
Fridge Brilliance is typically a "Hey! Wait a minute! That makes perfect sense!" moment.
So yes, it is a good thing.
