So, talking about first beating the game made me remember something I've said here before:

When first playing the game, I played all the way from midnight to 10am. I then passed out because I was so tired, but I woke up only an hour later because I was having a dream with my squadmates telling me to wake up and finish the fight.

I really wish I was making that up, because if anyone else told me that happened to them, I'd say they were full of ****.

I made sure I did EVERYTHING and took my time to make choices... not that they were worth anything in the end

omg!  But looks like they even tried to indoctrinate you and you did wake up hehe. At least we know how the end story of commander byne went:  wakes up. Defeats indoctrination attempt. Then founds IT and wakes up all the indoctrinated Shepard's of the world one Shepard at a time

She foreshadowed that there might be a future DLC. In my original post I meant detailed scripts. Of course, the story implied retaking Omega would happen at some point. But no one could be sure.

As soon as I can, maybe tomorrow, I wanna make a thread about the dreams. Just to find out what ideas people have about what they might mean. More about their implications, rather than looking for specific clues about certain things. Would any of you be able to help me with a few things?

For a start, what immediately precedes, and follows after, each of the dreams?

Are there any little things you've noticed about each dream? Like Byne noticed that, in the first dream only, the Kid has a toy Normandy.

Also do any of you have any links for useful vids, previous dream threads, ideas about their symbolism etc. etc.? Just so I can make a better OP if/when I get round to doing this.

It will be more about the meaning of the dreams, rather than specifics like untangling the whispers etc., though analysis of anything dream-related might be helpful.

Something I noticed from that:

Nyreen is ex-turian military, but, despite this, she is a biotic (turian military hierarchy prohibits biotic powers).

From the Turian Military Doctrine codex:

Biotics are uncommon. While admired for their exacting skills, biotics' motives are not always trusted by the common soldier. The turians prefer to assign their biotics to specialist teams called Cabals.

Lore is hard.

Totally saw it coming but it still stinks. It would have been a GREAT opportunity to tell us more about the Cabals or how turian society views biotics or whatever but no. That would be too informative. Give us yet another non-Hierarchy supporting turian that doesn't have much in common with the rest of their species. Not that I'm complaining TOO much, but why is everyone Shepard meets some sort of social outcast or important person that the average human probably wouldn't run into all that often? Why is more difficult to expand on the lore we already have than it is to subvert it on a regular basis?

The beginning supports the reason I think Shepard may be indoctrinated since ME1. When he interacts with the beacon, we hear whispers but it never happens with the other beacons

Well to be honest IT wasn't their plan for the start, and I don't think everything in ME2, and 1 is going through Indoctrination more like giving us clue what Indoctrination is and what a person feels under the infulence of Indoctrination.

Oh and if anybody didn't see this...

In a video I saw about Renegade Shepard talking to TIM at the end. There is a MAJOR hint about what's about to take place after you talk to TIM.


TIM: Are you going to Control the Reapers Shepard?

Ya that's right he says it.

Omg I just realized ( well again)

When we see the brat in the beginning of the game he has Shepard's at most attention right, and when the brat dies ( so people think) Shepard has nightmers about the brat. Now if you watch the opening scene, you see an Alliance fighter turning left to right. Now as the Camera pans out you see a boy Controlling the ship.

Yet it's a symbol. I mean the ship. Right now Shepard is free hence the Brat is playing with Shepard ( the ship) now at the end what Ship do we see running away, and is Shepard's ship? Hello the Normandy. Think about this what if the wave is the god childs hand, yes in Destroy it's trying to get the Normandy before it dies. Just saying.

Well not dies, but before Shepard kicks Harbinger out of Shepard head.


Oh and If you watch the EC Take Back Earth trailer you see a ship landing which looks just like a regularer ship. Yet the camera pans out and oh look a girl is Controlling the ship.

Un ME3 opening hey look the brat Controls the ship. You see what I mean?


Also why do we call the brat god child?

Viewing the Reaper itself with super stishis awe.

Nothing more, really. I mean, I'll be honest, with all the hype and clues pointing to IT being true, it just seems like there is no sense NOT to make it true, so I would be severely disappointed if it's false.
