What if, since ME4 will have a completely different character - it will feature a system of character generation very much like the one from DA:O - which was very succesfull and very well recieved? So you play though completely different opening act, depeding on your character race? And it would be really not that much trouble to include one secret origin story - for those who import the save with High EMS destroy - in that case, and only in that case you get to play as your Sheprad, What do you guys think?

demersel that's brilliant. It fits in with the there will be no Shepard or Shepard 2 and it fits in with their desires to deny everything that they will do. Plus it fits in with the "you'll regret not holding onto your save games"

Edit-Shepard lives for ME4

That would be brilliant.  I want this so much!

lol cause I post in this a lot I just go to profile and click the last time I posted here just like Davik said it avoids a lot of the stuff

Whats with Aralakh?
You know that there is a solar sail between Aralakh and Tuchanka to cool its atmosphere down?
And that's what you see, combined with the corona of Aralakh (similar to what happens during an eclipes).

Well, that explains that.  And we would never have been able to figure that out without looking VERY closely at details in game.  Hint?

Okay so people want a Kal Regger dlc, even though he is dead now. They killed him off in an artical. Honestly they did that to Tombs, and other people we have saved. We can't save Kal because he is dead, nor Rana, nor Tombs, nor Jokers sister which think it is because Tiptree was the planet Joker's sister was on that had bone diesaes and wanted to be a pliot like her brother.

I mean come on Bioware told use that Joker's sister is dead.

actually I'll take a dlc that has the fate of Emily Wong in it. I think that needs to be wrapped up

What if the whole of Mass Effect was a dream? Then ME4 could be considered a reboot and the new Shepard wouldn't be Shepard, strictly speaking, cause he wouldn't have all the experience the old one gathered throughout the trilogy. It would be like an alternative version from a parallel Universe.

Wow, i never heard of such thing.  And don't remeber seeing anything like that in any other Tuchanka mission in both ME3 and ME2. But perhaps i just didn't payed attention to that.
What is really strange is very low res static drawn background in this sequence...but that is perhaps because of performance issues....damn consoles...

Well awakinging you can play as your Grey Warden, or a new character from up north. Oh and how can their not be a Shepard 2.0 if they are going to create a person like Shepard? Unless you have no free will and it's just a shooter game.

Well what if that new game is not that combat oriented? and there are other things to do than just shoot stuff?
You could be a scientist, a smuggler, a mercenary, a thief, a trader! Imagine! the abuility to play as the suave volus trader in ME4! A Volus saves the universe! Or a giddy asari dancer - the hero of the universe! Or relegious hanar missionary! Or a an Elcor con artist! The possibilities are truly limitless!  What if ME4 would be a true old school RPG! not a shooter/rpg hybrid?  Technology allows.

So the transports stop and then a turian jey crashes into you - shepard almost gets crashed by a knocked over transport - exactly like in the EC beam run. and then you have to go on on foot - but i took my time to look around - and this stroke me as very odd - i don't really know what to make out of it.

THe whole scene really feels fake and dead - the backgrounds are just drown low res. The turian fighters are supposed to fight the reaper in the distance, but nothing is happening. I'm not saying that it is fake, mind you.

That's just how Tuchankas sun looks like

The beginning supports the reason I think Shepard may be indoctrinated since ME1. When he interacts with the beacon, we hear whispers but it never happens with the other beacons

I pointed that out in maybe may or june? (the whispers part) But you miss another point: the first time it's whispers the time on Virmire you even see Nazara which then plainly states "You touch my mind." They are obviously linked.
Also in ME3 before Shep exclaims that there is a beacon all around you goes black and you hear lots of Reaper sounds.

i did miss the Nazara part.

Because it's not in that dumb video. Because they either want to just hang it in the air or don't know how to make a good trail of thought that you can follow, or just didn't notice it themselves.

Megumi - ok, i got it, i just didn't noticed that before.

Anyway, i think that the mission is just buggy or something - squadmats froze up on me, and do not follow me deep into the city, (before the room where you find the drawing of kalross)  - some line are just cut of before they are spoken, animation clithches. I think is just need to restart the game, or reload my pc. Or leave it alone for some time.

We all assume that the Breath Scene takes place by the beam in London. And rightly so cause this is the first thought most of us got seeing it. But what if we are all mistaken assuming that the simplest, most straightforward explanation is the correct one? What if it happens elsewhere? Wouldn't that make for quite a shock when it turns out that way?

I remember someone had mentioned that they were wondering if that bench Shepard is thrown into at the beginning of the game is still around after he is thrown into it.  Well, as far as I can tell, it isn't.  And I think the camera kind of hovers over where it used to be for a moment, as if to emphasize that it's not there.  Now, it's possible that it's just the camera angle.  And I'm not going to call this definitive proof that it never existed.  But it seems like it might not have ever been there.  Could someone flycam this scene please?  I would like to know for sure now, too.  BTW, I'm pretty sure that the bench is visible right up until after Shepard is thrown into it, so if it's going to disappear, it would be right after Shepard hits it.

Edit: Also, I would like to bring up once more the subject of the kid going into the building with the locked door.  I'm pretty certain at this point that the kid is a hallucination given that not only does he enter the building through a locked door, but the panel for the door doesn't disappear.  It just sort of hovers there once the door is "openned" until it "closes" again.  Every other time we see a door open, the panel disappears.

Okay I just thought about Star Wars EP3, and it just hit me.

Anni boy had dreams of Padme dying right. Shepard has dreams of the boy right. Now Skywalker talks to the sith lord ( not nowing that he is evil) and he tells Anni that there is a way to save Padme from Death. Instead of Killing Dark Sidious he saves him, get it Synthesis, and Control save the brat.

And Anni becomes from here on out Lord Vader. He goes to the Dark side ( The Reapers ways) and kills the Jedi order, and betrays his friends.

That's the way I see it.

I never believed it was definitely London, at least there is nothing pointing to it. That Mako in the background is just something people want to see.

I don't think it's a Mako, but you can't deny that it looks like there is SOME kind of vehicle in the background.  If anything, it looks more like one of the vehicles that Shepard and Co. were riding in to get to the beam.

Edit: OK, maybe you can deny that there is a vehicle back there, but there is SOMETHING back there.

Imo the breath scene either takes places in London and IT is right. ( what i believe)
..or it doesn´t make any sense... how could Shepard survive a fall from space?

Translation Convention (http://tvtropes.org/...ationConvention) would be one answer.  Another would be that since Shepard DOES have eye implants from the Lazarus Project, maybe they're translating?  I don't know for sure.

Oh and I think we talked about this but for the speculations.

When Shepard is knocked out for a bit in the back ground you only here a high pitch ring, then you slowly hear Anderson call out " Shepard."

It's weird because to me it look just like the end as in when Shepard is knocked out Anderson calls out " Shepard"

Now it may seem like nothing, but to me it is.

Okay so when you see a Reaper class Nazar come down right in front of the the building where Shepard is at ( which is ironic because the Reapers so happence to shot it's laser right in front of Shepard) doesn't it remind you of Shepard's squadmates trying to escape the Mako coming at them?

Okay will say more but have to go.

I may be wrong but IT always had good supporters..was it getting much hate in the beginning?

Also yeah I agree, still not telling us for this long is a bit of trolling

They are known as Volvo Tanks, but that's a tautology since Volvos are always tanks.
Edit: And it happened again, useless post on top. Might as well use this attention for the Character Thread. Come on guys/gals post/vote in that thread... I am feeling like an attention-wh0re :(
