Well, based on some quick research, I don't think Vader was ever resurrected. However, I'm quite certain that the Emperor was resurrected, so it's not without precedent.

Edit: Top.

The emperor wasn't really resurrected, his soul/ghost/mind simply assumed control of a clone of his original body.

Didnt that happen multiple times?

Like, everytime they couldnt think of a villain, suddenly the emperor was back?

What can I say, I've never actually read that series (I REALLY need to.).  Still, my point is that it's not crazy to think that there isn't SOME way they can explain it, even if that explanation basically boils down to Space Magic.  Because in Star Wars, Space Magic isn't the stupidity that it is in ME3.

For me, its less that its silly, and more that it didnt happen in the books, so they're just ignoring the extended universe, it seems.

I've just started a new Control-related thread, thought I'd invite my IT friends to the party.  What would the ShepAI do if the races of the galaxy decided they didn't need or want an omnipotent human/AI hybrid overlord with an unstoppable army of Reapers?

I saw your name, clicked, and then saw who was in the thread. Sorry Gek, can't do it. Synthesis supporters....no rational discussion possible. I don't care what anyone says, that collective is filled with unfiltered stupidity.

Pro-synthesis posts should come a surgeon general's warning. :(

Even if one was in favor of synthesis, I dont see why you'd waste the Crucible on achieving it. Godchild tells you that synthesis is inevitable. If so, use the Crucible to destroy the Reapers or to take control of them.

I believe, before their entire race forgot about it, that Legion once said something about how we should achieve things on our own terms, and not let it be handed to us.

Synthesis supporters are indoctrinated even if IT is false. Godchild tells you something is inevitable and you believe him and do what he wants.

But the worst part about synthesis, yknow, other than forcibly rewriting all DNA in the galaxy, and agreeing with the Reapers, is that godchild is still in control of the Reapers in Synthesis. You have absolutely no guarantee that he wont start the cycle again.

If the only good thing that comes from this is "synthesis" becomes a euphemism for the f word, it will all have been worth it

Other uses for "synthesis"
Anytime someone is about to screw up:
"Ahhhh, don't do it bro, you're totally about to choose synthesis"

"Man, I just ate Chipotle and I gotta take a synthesis"

"I cant believe I did that. What a synthesis move"

"I did 6 years for statutory synthesis. She looked 18 to me"

@spotless
You tell me! Since I am lurking, reading and posting on the BSN, the word Synthesis has only bad conotations for me.
Interestingly, I stumble upon the word Synthesis on a regular basis job-wise...
And it now triggers a bad mood, damn it!

I laughed in a public library and looked like an idiot. Thanks for that... <_<
