Here's the nice thing, even though those 3 are separate, it recognized all of my ME2 and ME3 purchases and added them as digital files instead of separate downloads (like how ME2 was). This was a nice bonus, plus it recognized my account being a collector's edition account yay!

Well here's something weird. I can play my game under the ME3 collector's edition but all of the "add ons" moved to the trilogy version.  But the game save didn't.  Though when I boot the game on the CE it still lets me play as if I didn't install the trilogy.

You didn't like the EC endings?  IMO they were vastly improved from those in the original.

LMAO - sorry, I was kinda excited about it all.  I'll do better next time

EDIT - @ Paxxton - apparently no but I think it's because I already have ME3 and ME2 registered.  Though I would think you could use the trilogy to register the games so you can post in the ME3/ME2/ME1 forums.  

It looks like the forums have ME 1 and ME2 incorporated into the ME2 forums.

@byne - I have my set on the PC.  Wwhat it changes for me is ME1 being able to play both dlcs without having to deal with the evil universal dlc code.  Now it's built in on disc.  Again for ME1 is to have it show up on Origin and dl'able instead of worrying one day I can't play it.  Another plus is having all 3 games compatible with everything I bought so far.  Though I'm not sure how the saves will work out.  What is interesting is I can buy the geneis comic for free.  I don't want to do that if I can transfer my ME1 save over.

@paxxton - I don't know honestly if the PC version improves the textures.  I suppose I have to dl it and find out lol.  Though one dilemma, if I record my entire gameplay through the 3 games I would be stuck with the low framerate probably impacting my experience than if I didn't.  But if I don't record it, I would probably miss something from an IT hunting perspective

OMG! I didn't realize where that picture of the hand helping the person out of the rubble came from! It was from the ME3 collector's edition extra materials.

I found an app called Game Booster 3. It claims to optimize your PC for higher framerate in games. Haven't tried it myself but might be helpful in your situation.

@paxxton - this might be a good reason to get the trilogy. I didn't realize this but I haven't played ME1 on my computer since my old one went dead:

"Hi, I'm trying to run Mass Effect on windows 7 64 btis but does not work, it crashes before it starts. Is some update to play on 64 bits os? Thanks:"

Decided to un-install it and re-install it but when I try to install it now I can only get to the point where you enter the serial number. When you hit return it says installation cancelled. Does anybody have any ideas as I have a game that I have bought, want to play but can't. I have now found out that I should have installed it using a compatability mode in the first place but it will not now allow me to carry out any type of install."

It was on the EA Q&A site. Looks like you either hunt around for a patch or go the easy way with the trilogy

might have to try this, i always have to run my games on medium quality to up framerate.

Strange. I played ME1 a few months ago on Win 7 x64 and it worked fine. But I have an Origin version, so that might be the reason.

People who have a retail version might be able to register it either automatically or by contacting Origin Support.

lol it looks like the trilogy keeps the same idea of moving your ME1 save to your ME2 save folder manually. Oh well, at least it'll be easy enough to do hehe'

EDIT ^last post - yep I have the retail version.  I bet mine would have been all buggy.  But then they announced the trilogy so yay!

@CmdrShep80 What app do you use to record gameplay? I tried fraps but the trial only allows for 30-second videos.
