Yeah, that's what I remember. Didn't we have another sign that said T75? In Rio or something? Or am I just imagining things?

Here's a more clearer sign, without the film grain:

During the Leviathan DLC.

I'm sure you or someone did look at this but here it is again in case.  From the wiki:

Human reactions to infrasound
20 Hz is considered the normal low-frequency limit of human hearing. When pure sine waves are reproduced under ideal conditions and at very high volume, a human listener will be able to identify tones as low as 12 Hz.[28] Below 10 Hz it is possible to perceive the single cycles of the sound, along with a sensation of pressure at the eardrums.
The dynamic range of the auditory system decreases with decreasing frequency. This compression can be seen in the equal-loudness-level contours, and it implies that a slight increase in level can change the perceived loudness from barely audible, to loud. Combined with the natural spread in thresholds within a population, it may have the effect that a very low-frequency sound which is inaudible to some people may be loud to others.
One study has suggested that infrasound may cause feelings of awe or fear in humans. It also was suggested that since it is not consciously perceived, it may make people feel vaguely that odd or supernatural events are taking place.[

Suggested relationship to ghost sightings
Research by Vic Tandy, a lecturer at Coventry University, suggested that an infrasonic signal of 19 Hz might be responsible for some ghost sightings. Tandy was working late one night alone in a supposedly haunted laboratory at Warwick, when he felt very anxious and could detect a grey blob out of the corner of his eye. When Tandy turned to face the grey blob, there was nothing.
The following day, Tandy was working on his fencing foil, with the handle held in a vise. Although there was nothing touching it, the blade started to vibrate wildly. Further investigation led Tandy to discover that the extractor fan in the lab was emitting a frequency of 18.98 Hz, very close to the resonant frequency of the eye given as 18 Hz by NASA.[32] This was why Tandy had seen a ghostly figure—it was an optical illusion caused by his eyeballs resonating. The room was exactly half a wavelength in length, and the desk was in the centre, thus causing a standing wave which caused the vibration of the foil.[33]
Tandy investigated this phenomenon further and wrote a paper entitled The Ghost in the Machine.[34] Tandy carried out a number of investigations at various sites believed to be haunted, including the basement of the Tourist Information Bureau next to Coventry Cathedral[35][36] and Edinburgh Castle.[37][38] More recent research seems to indicate that, while infrasound does seem to have effects on human emotions, some of Tandy's findings are inaccurate.

Saren:" I've studied the affect of Indoctrination. The more Control Sovereign exerts, The less capable the subject becomes..."

Thank you Indoctrinated Saren you just gave me a light bulp. Hello guys. Harbinger has to put more Control over Shepard in Control because Shepard is struggling to hold onto the two handels, and submit to the Reapers.

Also

Saren: " NO Sovereign needs me. If I find the Conduit I HAVE BEEN PROMISED TO BE FREE FROM THE INEVITABLE.THIS IS MY ONLY HOPE"

Um let's switch this to Shepard.

Shepard. No if I hel the Catalyst find a soultion. I have been promised that I can Control the Reapers. This is my only way to save my friends EDI, and the Geth.

Then you find out that Shepard is Indoctrinated and dies. Well Saren to be more correct.

TIM: Are YOU going to Control the Reapers."

You only get that if you choose Renegade option if you picked the renegade wheel action commands. But really Bioware just told us that.

" Hey did you just hear TIM say " Are you going to Control the Reapers?" 2 minutes later we have Control choice, that let's us Control the Reapers. There was no suprise that Bioware was telling us that somebody is Indoctrinating Shepard, but who?

Does anyone happen to know where is the first place we see the yellow warning sign? Not the electrical one, since that's probably everywhere, but the yellow hazard for something sign

Okay I am going to bed, how ever I will leave you all with this.

In ME2 there is a Prothean beacon you can find on a mission, that shows Shepard the same vision, only this time it showed the Collectors. I think you can do it before you go onbord the Collector ship. Anyways Bioware was telling us in the vision that the Collectors are the Protheans. Yet you find out either way, if you do the beacon mission, or the Collector ship trap TIM seted up.

Didn't read the whole thing today (damn, you miss a LOT on here when you don't get on for a day). Work was hell, this day was hell, blah blah blah. Anyway, I know someone mentioned Dark Energy earlier as a possibility for the DLC they are working on. That would be cool, but honestly, I could see them saving that for the next trilogy. Maybe having the character you play as be a descendant from one of the original trilogy's characters. Ultimately, you are called into active duty after some sort of attack (you know, cliche beginning), and at the end, you find out the attack was engineered by the forces led by the influence of the Dark Energy, which has grown infinitely more powerful since the defeat of the Reapers (regardless of the ending you chose; if it was control, Shepard and the Reaper fleet haven't been seen or heard from in thousands of years, and if it was Synthesis, the effects have been diluted enough that no one is really synthetic anymore, and again, the Reapers have floated off into unknown space and have never/will never be heard from again). Your character ultimate has some sort of revelation that the Reapers were really guardians of universe, holding back the Dark Energy by limiting the use of the Mass Relays. Now, it is too late and the Dark Energy is here. I.e., make the new trilogy exactly what the original ending was going to be.

Does this happen to you with fraps? While playing and recording it seems to record a lower framerate yet during playback it records a higher framerate?

For example, I was staring at the Blasto Ad on the presidium commons. While it was recording it I was getting about 19 frames per second. Yet afterwards via playback on the raw data I was getting 80 frames per second give or take on playback. The same was with the mass relay. While playing the game it was about 30 frames per second, yet on playback it displays it as 100 frames per second.

I tried TSA's thing of putting it on another hard drive. I used my external hard drive. Figured I try that since I know I have tons of space. I ended up running about 24 min for 46gb. Not bad. I think I would get to about 232 gb for about 2 hours of vids truncated into 4 gb chunks.

Damn, I sure did miss out on a lot of stuff... just can't concentrate now to read all the long posts - +1 about work.
Maybe some one will be nice enought to make a quick recap? Just the key points?

I throw in one of my own - In Mass Effect 3 ending shepard dies and bioware says the end, no more ending DLC? - well, Fallout 3, ladies and gentlemen, Fallout 3. You can't get more dead and final and difinitive than in the Fallout 3 ending. And yet...

I think i don't even need to mention that Fallout 3 ending cinematics consists of a slide show with voice over narration....

I always record at 60 FPS. In other CPU intensive applications (Flight Simulator X), my FPS cuts by around 10-15. I play Mass Effect 3 off of my E: drive and Fraps records onto my K: drive.

Earth is intact...

To be more precise during the scene with TIM on the Citadel, the same scene where he says how perfect Earth is Earth is intact. None of the fires seen during the space battle or the following Catalyst scene are there. Quite curious that it is in the same scene where TIM says Earth is perfect.

So, the fact that we, the player, actually do see the Earth like he does... that's not good for us, is it. Posted Image

That depends on if you mean us as in Shepard or us as in IT ;)

I was.. always a bit confused by the "It's so perfect" line. What's so perfect about Earth? Just because there's no war going on doesn't make it the least bit perfect, an Earthborn Shepard would be quick to point out that she can easily picture Earth being a warzone (which she does at the start of the From Ashes content on Eden Prime). So what is TIM seeing that we can (but Shepard can't) see exactly? Additionally, isn't this what we see when Anderson mentions "best seats in the house" ? Still feels like we're missing something that ought to be quite obvious.

Somebody should take a picture a few seconds later because you get a better view and I'm pretty sure I see fires, but it's not clear on my phone.

Thats the Catalyst scene. The "intact" Earth should only be in the TIM scene from what i understood of the discussion some pages back.

In short you have the space battle with the burning Earth in the background, then the TIM scene with perfect Earth and then Catalyst scene back to burning Earth.

I know, spotless was asking for one that showed the Earth burning after the TIM scene.

Here's another:

EDIT: slightly misread his post, looking through stash for TIM convo screens, but looks like I'd have to fire up the game again for a better view.

Still though, there's clear fires on Earth for the Catalyst scene at least.
