Crucible docking over earth, just after you open the Citadel, but before you go see god boy.

Repost because it was bottom.

It's definately not blue and cloudy...

Indeed. I think I will go watch the TIM scene again.

I think we may have stumbled across something big here...quite incredible we can still do that considering how long it has been.

Yeah every other scene clearly shows it, but on my phone, 1-2 seconds later during this scene I think I see fires

It's hard to tell for sure but above and in the middle between Shepard and Anderson is fire.and watching the scene it doesn't change so I don't think it's an exploding ship.

Looks like there is some fire on Earth in the scene, I guess the arm control room just happens to be ona really cloudy view at that point.

Does anyone know if a Dandelion/seed signifies anything? I didn't notice before, but there's a few flowing in the breeze as the Normandy takes off from the Paradise Planet they crash landed on (EC).

Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me.

Dandelions in dreams are said to symbolize happy unions.

Outside of dreams the symbolism can both be of hope and of grief.

Well that's quite the selection of interpretations... ><

Remember the twitter post about the singleplayer DLC after Omega? Apparently he worked on the geth drednought and rachni mission previously. Nothing amazing but it's an interesting selection of levels.

I didn't realize that the room where Kasumi is during Mass Effect 2 on the Normandy, plays the same sound that James hears as a "hum" (or it's very similar). Not to mention, I found one of these:

There isn't that many of those "indoctrination symbols" as I call them on the Mass Effect 2 Normandy, but there's a lot more of them in Mass Effect 3.

The left sign is already present in ME1, Noveria, Peak 15 symbolizing a fusion reactor...

Yeah, couldnt find any specifics on what seperates hope and grief part of it, but i guess that simply comes down to the scene they are seen in.

I've said it before but will say again.. has anyone else noticed that Palaven and Earth look nearly identical? Planets probably do look similar from space when the Reapers are attacking but should they look nearly identical? That scene with the Crucible docking, how can we be sure that's Earth in the background at all.

In this video it looks like Earth, because you can distignuish the silhouette of Europe (since the Citadel if hovering over London).

It's not necessarily the graphic symbol, but the "T78" that I was referring to, but whatever.

Here's another:

According to the game's files, that Reaper is actually Sovereign. Thought we killed it back in 2183? Although, they might have just reused it's model for this, although I don't see why, unless they were trying to prove a point. They could have used a generic Reaper model (eg. I think Harbinger is a generic Reaper model with headlights), but they didn't.

It's apart of the "End002_Space" file I believe. I'll look it up.

Here we go. Even without digging through the files though, it does sort of resemble Sovereign.

Oh dear. People discussing Smudboy's new video. I honestly don't even need to watch it to know what it'll be about.

A mix of people either saying he's annoying (he is) but then agreeing with his broader opinions, and people saying how great he is and Bioware are terrible.

Apperently the idea that Smudboy is too bitter and twisted up, and too stubbornly proud to admit maybe he was fooled as well, and so had to find every little inconsistancy and declare them as 'bad' instead of joining the dots together is completely invalid.

Especially his point about Reapers being compared to a chemical process (someone mentioned it in the thread).

You could call it bad writing, or you could call it subversive confusing dialogue designed to distract Shepard/the player from the fact the 'Catalyst' is actually lying about damn near everything and wants you to make a decision based on ignorance, doubt, confusion, desperation, fatigue and fear.

Watching Smudboy now.

No more after this one. He seems like he's what happens when analytical thinking is developed in really bad ways.

Half of the thing is 'That doesn't make sense!' in several different ways.

The large Sovereign like Reapers are actually classified as Sovereign class Reapers in the codex which might be what the file name is refering to.

Yeah. One would think the logical question after "it dosent make sense" would be "why dosent it make sense?"

But it seems many dont continue to this step...except to say bad writing that is.

"It doesn't make sense" = "I don't understand it" or "I refuse to accept the answer."

Sad, really.

And yeah, Sovereign could refer to the class of the ship.  Always confused me why they called the ship type Sovereign, when at most times they are called 'Reaper Dreadnoughts'.

Ok so he's at the Catalyst stuff.

It really all makes sense if Catalyst is Harbinger. Maybe I'm wrong, sure, there's no absolute proof. Yet....

again, it all makes sense if the Catalyst is Harbinger, an effed up offspring of Leviathan hubris.

Of course the Catalyst is illogical. Extended Cut even HIGHLIGHTS this in very blatant ways.
