oh yeah, he's kinda like the galactus of the titans. he killed one of the creators of the world ( his father as well) when he was only a child and with only a sickle.

Flawless Logic

I found it okay, loved Bane

Bane = Lenin, you know that right? The whole revolution subplot was a very clamsy attempt at  adding substance to the story.

Actually what i liked about Bane was his "well you ain´t gonna cooperated no more?*break his neck*", i just loved his use of violence, also the martial arts wich didn´t fit the serious theme of the trilogy and the voice.
Plus the plot of the movie was super simple just looked different and epic because of soundtrack

I would be really happy with a DA: Origins style direction for ME - Provided they finish our Shep's story properly first.

I imagine the logistics of different playable races would make a voiced protagonist almost impossible though. You'd need to have male and female versions of Turians, Humans, Voluses (Voli?) etc.
I've been spoiled by voice-acted protagonists, I'd find it hard to go back to a mute, expressionless character like in DA:O.

Hey, they did that stuff fro TOR and it was fine.

And well developed/interesting squadmates and characters in general will also help to the mix

So they had multiple voice actors for all possible main characters? Wow, that's impressive. How many possible permutations were there in TOR?

Oh believe me, I hope Omega will blow me away and have IT clues:lol:!!

But the absence of squadies already eliminates any possibility of me being blown away by this DLC, so I hope that they are keeping expectations low so that they can throw a curve ball at us.

I dont see why everyone is so down on not being able to bring your normal squadmates. If you could they'd probly have very few lines, since BioWare isnt going to give any essential dialogue to people you might not have. At least this way they can be sure who you're taking, give them plenty of dialogue, and balance encounters accordingly.

lol you're right.  If they did this I bet the most common lines will be "Shepard not right now" and "not right now Shepard" and the oh so famous "Shepard"

i would still be cool if they added a few an archangel line for Garrus, and a line for Mordin if played during Tuchanka ark

Kronos.  ermm......(otherwise cronus)  OK a long stretch but here goes....
Takes a long stretch of any kind of logic but made a go of it.

In ancient myth recorded by Hesiod's Theogony, Cronus (TIM) envied the power of his father, the ruler of the universe, Uranus. (Harbinger) Uranus drew the enmity of Cronus' mother, Gaia, (star brat)  when he hid the gigantic youngest children of Gaia, (Leviathans) the hundred-handed Hecatonchiresand one-eyed Cyclopes, in Tartarus, so that they would not see the light. Gaia (star brat) created a great stone sickle (shepard) and gathered together Cronus (TIM) and his brothers (Cerberus) to persuade them to castrate Uranus.(Harbinger)[2]Only Cronus (TIM) was willing to do the deed, so Gaia gave him the sickle (Shepard) and placed him in ambush. When Uranus (Harbinger) met with Gaia,(Star Brat) Cronus (TIM)  attacked him with the sickle(Shepard) castrating him (Defeat?) and casting his testicles into the sea (destroying them). From the blood (or, by a few accounts, semen)[who?] (wreckage / items that indoctrinate people) that spilled out from Uranus (Harbinger) and fell upon the earth, the GigantesErinyes, and Meliae were produced. (The next evolution of life) The testicles produced a white foam from which Aphrodite emerged. (shes a babe - maybe the first of the new humans)[3] For this, Uranus (harbinger) threatened vengeance and called his sons Titenes(Τιτῆνες; according to Hesiod meaning "straining ones," the source of the word "titan", but this etymology is disputed) for overstepping their boundaries and daring to commit such an act. (all the surviving races)

Goddammit, am i really that behind in ME lore?

Now you´re gonna tell me Blasto, Conrad Verner, Biotic God, an Elcor Tank and Marauder Shields didn´t do an avengers-like team-up to fight the reapers while Shepard was knock down and your war assets were just you know floating in space

Pretty interensting stuff, but it´s that from wich mythlogy Kronos or Chronos
also is Cronus related to Cerberus as three headed dog guarding the underworld? or is there another mythology with a similar name?

Their "reasoning" usually is "bad writing".  No DLC has disproved IT and no one from BiowarEA will simply say that IT is false. IT is real.

Bad writing doesn't disprove IT.  IT, however, disproves bad writing.

I  could also speculate Chronos (time)  station is a pivotal point in history.  A possible continuation or turning point.  A Recurring Event.  Everything that happens after dictates the way the galaxy will be for the next 50,000 years.

Lets say Shep is indoctrinated.

Imagine (take a big leap here) lets take into account string theory and the theory of alternate universes existing a the same moment in time. Now lets look at the options.
3.  Synthesis.  Synthesis strengthens the Reapers.  They have been 'Synthesising' creatures for millions of years 'Husks'
2.  Control.  Control strengthens Indoctrination.  Control symbolises Enslavement.  Would you want to become a tool of enslavement?
1.  Destroy.  In my opinion the only choice.  Freedom of Will.

The only option i dont consider an option (even tho i can understand it in a way) is refuse - as bioware just ****slappped the refusers.  Refusal continues the cycle.

In this way you can have 3 x canon endings.  You create 3 universes.  Bioware can choose any one they want.  They are all equally as valid.

In one universe Synthesis exists.  The Reapers honored his sacrifice.  Shep killed himself.
In another, Shep took control of the reapers and they continue along the extinction path.  Power corrupts.  Absolute power corrupts absolutaly.  Shep would become the very thing he fought against.
In the BEST one, shep destroyed the reaper threat and through some miracle survived.  Only by doing this does shep break free of indoctrination.

In a final twist.  Let me speculate the old man at the end is Shepard.  At the beginning of time (had to throw in time travel somewhere)

I've not played ME3 since the day the collectors DLC came out, and even then I onlly played one match. It's sad my favourite series is not getting enough playtime. Still hoping for an IT extravaganza at some point in the distant future when we finally get the recognition we deserve.

*Twitchy eyes* We were right, precious. Those tricksy Biowares lied to us. We takes them to her. She could do it...IT is ours, our own, our prrrrrrrrrrrrrecious

Just had a thought regarding why Omega might be important.

Leviathan said that the intelligence created an army of pawns to gather information. Maybe the true Intelligence is hidden deep inside Omega and the Adjutants are its pawns?

I'd really like a twist revelation that Harbinger turned on his creator, and imprisoned it within Omega, just as the intelligence turned on the Leviathans.

Harbinger could have his own selfish and malevolent reasons for continuing the cycles, which would be much more fitting than the "saving organics and synthetics from each other" nonsense.

lol yep +1. From the above:

CronosCronos, more commonly spelled "Cronus" or "Kronos", was the leader and the youngest of the first generation of Titans in Greek mythology. His symbol was that of a sickle. Cronus is often confused with Chronos, the personification of time.

Edit. Looks like I confused it. He thing I posted was the word "Cronos"
