The Geth wanted to build their own dyson sphere, and do it on their own. Then it get's blown up by the Quarians who want revenge *caugh*Reapers *caugh*, so the Geth panic, but then come Reapers and say, "Hey! Wanna buy a watch?" And the Geth say -.. ..weeell... Okey! And then the reapers control the geth directly via Legion. But then comes Shepard, and legion is like Hey! Bro! THey made me to do it! Break me out! And I know where the control signal is from - let's go kill it! You go and kill it, aand right after that Legion says - Hey! By the way, i have this reaper code now, it is awesome! every Geth should have it! I'm gonna upload it to every geth now, and I don't care what you think.

I know that the game says that this is a good thing and there is peace. But hey! It is the same game that says that we defeated the reapers with a ray of Space Majic RGB, and there is peace.

to be honest I did for the luz. But ya, um that's why we speculated that Glyph is working for the Reapers, or maybe it's the leader of the Reapers. After all, it's the Shadow broker, well Liara is called the Shadow Broker, but Glyph does most of the work.

Synthesis was noone's goal but the Catalyst.

I agree with this.  Since Legion is connected to the Geth Consensus (It'd have to be for it to be able to disperse its personalities across the Geth), it's very probable that the Geth were able to think it over.  Also, remember that they think at light speed, meaning that in the time between the destruction of the Reaper and the dispersal of Legion's programs, they probably were able to talk it over and come to a conclusion.

By the way, what if GLYPH is that AI created by the Leviathans?  (I know, I know, we here think that it is Harbinger, But what if?)  It is after all the same colour as the starkid. It is on the normandy the who game, and the dream start right after Liara brings it onboard. Shadow broker IS known for making an army of pawns, And from all we know about the shadow broker - It is keeping the galaxy in balance.

Ultimately it was their choice to make. And the alternative was 'get destroyed by the Quarians', so I think it was a wise move on their part.

And presumably with reaper's help we can all live forever - ascend into greatness. 
And in the end it is your choice to make to become a repear merge with the reaper, or destroy the reapers by using crucible - because if you don't use the crucible - the alternative is to get destroyed by the reapers, butr hey, it is your choice to make!

It took them quite a while to reach some sort of conclusion when they had to decide whether to rewrite or destroy the Herethics.
I think accepting or not Legions upload should be as "difficult" of a decision as choosing the Heretics fate.


In some of the links in the OP, I remember reading about how Shepard's gun never runs out of ammo after s/he gets hit by Harbringer beam. When we are inside the Geth consensus we never run out of ammo...

"An End Once And For All" is easily the greatest piece of music from a game I have ever heard. I love watching the endings because of this (through an IT point of view)

On an unrelated note, the squadies Shepard is thinking about while shooting the tube were picked well, it read my mind exactly, and picked my two favorite squad members, those two reasons are why replaying the endings are extremely fun (of course, if the endings are literal, I will not ever cherish any moment in the series.)

I doubt the vehicle. Weapon pack is likely, but perhaps new armor? We haven't actually got any of those yet.

I don't really trust the Geth in Mass Effect. They're shown to side with Reapers not once (only the heretics), but twice (all of them). Plus they've been part of our enemy's forces in all three Mass Effect games.

We only have one platform to make our judgement upon. And that platform was being "trapped" by the Reapers in the Geth warship. How do we know for certain that Legion is not still under Reapers' influence? And he wants to bring sapience to its people using Reaper code. 

And then there's Geth consensus, where you try to rid their systems of Reaper code, and you are shown tidbits of the Geth history. Even if the scenes were true, what other reason would Legion have to show them for Shepard than manipulation?

Plus Geth uploaded themselves to Quarian suits if you chose peace. Javik told an interesting tidbit of information what happened before their war with the machines.

By the way, choosing Geth over the Quarians is the case of betraying your allies AND trusting your enemies. Just like the indoctrination codex tells.

I would assume it is probably just a weapons/armor pack. hopefully some sort of filies to get the console ready for Omega to get around that 2GB problem.

I don't like it either, hopefully it's free because it it's a surpriese.
