On one side, it's nice that Casey's asking.
On the other - I thought they established such basics some time ago...
Unless they're just making sure they did the right choice :P

Perhaps they really want to take the community's opinion with ME4, show they are actually listening for those of us who still might no believe it.

This small DLC pack is probably weapons... if it's an Assassin weapon pack then we're onto something.. :P

Oh right, what were the other weapons that were rumoured?

Whatever they are, I'm 100% sure it will be the three Collector guns along with them, as the Collector Rifle is the only gun you can't get in SP legitimately (you can mod for it), and you can't get the sniper rifle or SMG at all. Also, Mike Gamble was using a CAR in one of the Omega promo vids.

No weapons were rumored outright, but the supposed "leak" listed an assassin pack of some sort. I was just making a joke.

I liked this response to Casey

Well, they called the Venom and Executioner by name, so it has some weight in my eyes.

It would have been interesting to see what they do with ME4.

lel!

But seriously, if they're considering sequels, not prequels, then, assuming the endings now are legit, this might be tough one to accomplish without trivialising ME3's hard fought outcomes.
I mean, they simply can't keep on building games with more and more plotstates, so it seems more likely that a sequel ME game would need to start out from a general setting. I mean, they can't do a game where the player can choose that all organics have green skin textures or not...
"Shepard allowed everyone evolve to the peak of evolution....but the piece didn't last and everyone removed their synthetic parts and Synthetics forgot what they learned about organics."

Hey guys, I've been lurking this thread forever, and I fully support IT, in some form or another. I've never posted anything here because you all are so good at finding hints yourselves. I've been working on some videos explaining my interpretations of the 3 main endings, and I came across a tidbit that I think absolutely *proves* that Synthesis is an indoctrinated ending. Of course, the Child claims that Synthesis is "the final evolution of life" and Sovereign says that the Reapers are "the pinnacle of evolution and existence." But furthermore, in the EC Synthesis ending, EDI says this:

"As the line between synthetic and organic disappears, we may trascend mortality itself, to reach a level of existence I cannot even imagine."

From ME1: "There is a realm of existence so far beyond your own you cannot even imagine it. I am beyond our comprehension. I am Sovereign."

With that, I can't believe anyone would choose or support Synthesis. I'm sure many of you have already noticed those lines, but I thought I'd share anyways. Happy speculations! :D

I'd like to see a game set in the distant future (preferably with this whole ending debacle sorted out..)

But I'd also like to see a spin off prequel title. Mass Effect: First Contact.

Perhaps we'd be able to play as Jon Grissom?

not really, just you need the major ones. forget the minor ones. most of the people we helped in ME1_ME2 are dead. they died on Missions, and are writen in  articals, so ya. Bioware was trying to cover up..loose ends.

Sorry man, I'm a huge Krogan fan and all, but I can't help but like Batarians ever since they got added to ME3 Multiplayer. They are just awesome.

The humble human female vanguard is clearly the most badass MP character.

Being on top proves I'm right.
