So a weapon pack that may contain Collectors weapons just in time for a DLC that doesn't feature Collectors. Seems legit.

Just dropping in to note something I've been sitting on for a few weeks because it's been bothering me. I was playing ME2 over again during Mordin's recruitment mission when he's in the clinic on Omega, the music during the mission has reaper horns that are drawn out and kind of dreamy. You kind of don't realize they're there unless you're paying attention because they don't happen often.

I can't think of a reason why Bioware would reuse that sound in the music to put in that mission (and I can't remember if that music is used in any other mission) other than to maybe make it sound creepy in there, but WHY Reaper horns? I know that it turns out the Vorcha are working for the Collectors and are possibly indoctrinated but that doesn't seem like a good reason other than clumsy foreshadowing. I dunno, it makes me wonder if the indoctrinated Protheans that sabotaged the crucible in Javik's cycle left something behind? Anyway, you can check it out for yourself, or maybe this is something already known. I just wanted to get it off my chest and see what you guys think.

I wasn't ignoring you, honest. I haven't played ME2 in so long, I honestly don't remember that. There are always going to be a few things I can't help but wonder if they are there just because the thing is a video game and sometimes, they are going to wind up being a little...video game-y. Like, maybe it is just a part of the music and not anything significant. You could be right, though. It could very well be that they might intend for Omega to be similar to the Citadel and being an ancient piece of Reaper tech.

na it's not like we need those weapons to take out the adjuants, or use them to kick Harbingers but if he is in this dlc.

It's common rumour per this thread plus we've seen Gamble using one of the Collector weapons in Omega gameplay footage.

I was just making the point that it would seem silly to introduce Collector weapons and not the Collectors themselves but everyone else around here seems to think that the weapons have a high chance of showing up in the new mini-DLC pack. They've already said no to Collectors being present (if we are to believe them) so it would seem unlikely that we would see these weapons.

I love nova guard because I can be lazy and only push a couple buttons. Plus, charging and spinning around then hitting anything with nova is ridiculously awesome. Doing that dance of death with a banshee just sets my heart aglow. The only thing that I find really hard are Ravagers. And I can stay at 200% recharging speed plus have a Mattock?!

I know they've said a lot of things, but didn't they say that Collectors and Harby would not be in Omega?

Oh, ok. I haven't seen any of the gameplay videos, and haven't used any of the Collector weapons in MP, so I didn't know what they look like. It's possible that they might either be in the DLC already, or part of the pack... Or the pack might include MP maps for Omega... <_<

 IS the AI.

- Leviathans enthrall organic races
- Organics built synthetics to help them rebel (Because Leviathans can only control organics)
- Leviathans build AI to control synthetics, so they can control everything
- AI turns on Leviathans because it wants to control everything itself
- AI wants to use the Leviathans' genetic ability to control organics
- AI takes control of the organics' synthetics, and uses them to harvest the Leviathans.
- AI builds a machine that is a synthesis of two things: the Leviathan's genetic ability (to control organics) and the AI itself as its ruling mind (with the ability to control synthetics)

So, Harbinger, the first true Reaper, is a machine that can control both organics and synthetics = the Reaper AI = the one to "establish a connection between synthetics and organics".

Wow, this is brilliant!  BiowarEA should give you a job. :o

Harbinger doesn't like our mp characters at all. we are not worthy to be smacked talk to Harbinger.:crying:

On the other hand Harbinger is trying to tell the Reapers what to do/ command armys, so I don't think Harbinger has any free time to talk, because he is planing for Shepard's down fall get it.

I've been there before. I had a great thought about how the devs have absolutely no problem completely squashing ridiculous rumored DLCs (The Truth, Terminator), but when a source of mine asked about it, all he gets is "no comment on rumors and speculations." Seems kinda interesting...like they aren't going to comment on things they are for sure working on? :o

Okay you know what would be funny. Remember how Anderson tells Shepard.

Anderson: You know you got quite the fan club back here.

I can see Harbinger have I love Shepard mega capital large t-shirt, along with a real life size Normandy. No wait he want the real thing, so he tricks Shepard into letting Shepard buy his/her free will in the endings.

Destroy destroys Harbingers dream, but lets Shepard dream about what could have been the future he, or her wanted.

Contrl lets Harbinger Control Shepard, and the Normandy, and now Harbinger has his collection of Shepard, and The Normandy. Oh and then he get's tired of Shepard's human body, and then puts Shepard's mind into a Reaper, so they can be best friends for ever.

Synthesis um Harbinger becomes so in love with Shepard he wants to synthesis Shepard, so he can be with Shepard forever, and to make it better he will spread his love of Shepard all over the galaxy.

Refuse: Harbinger is heart broken and rejects Shepard, and goes crazy to the point...he doesn't harvest any life...

Wait a minute what did happen in refuse? Did the Reapers create a new Reaper, or did they even Harvest the races at all? Holy crap if they didn't, then this combinnded with the lore of ME disproves that brats bs.

I remember my first time posting on the IT thread, well first actuall post on the BSN. Well I got into an argument with Estebauns on my first day here. :P Ah the memorys.

I seem to get into arguments in any thread outside of this one. See, if we all think the same things here, then there's no need for debates. However, when someone is basically the polar opposite of the argument you are trying to make, then there's chaos.

I keep forgetting to block all threads except this one.

We're dropping a brand new small DLC tomorrow. Maybe something you can use while retaking Omega on November 27th?

lmao go figure. Though I thought they would do this after omega. We should see what "little" thing they added
