EXMEFan, are you trolling or are you serious? Please just stop this madness.
I'm on your side when it comes to "IT v.s literalist". I too am a so-called "literalist". But honestly, I feel ashamed to be on the same side as you. Your behavior is unacceptable. Can't you act normal for a change? You should try it.
I'm not a literalist or a IT, I'm a psychology major, and I like seeing how people cling on to things that are obviously not true.
Behavior has nothing to do with facts. My behavior doesn't dictate whether I'm right or wrong. Its words on a webpage, grow some balls....
Your behavior is more important than you think.
Your behavior dictates whether people will listen to you or not. By acting like a complete and total douchebag you make sure people are never going to listen to you. People will not read your comments, they'll stop taking you seriously and in the end your words will fall on deaf ears. You as a psychology major should know that. Or did you just make that shit up? I get the feeling you're not a psychology major at all...
I don't care about if people will listen, just most of the time, when people hear the truth, they know it, whether they openly acknowledge it or not.
Its like how a woman could know their man cheating, but because he won't admit it, something in her still believes him. But if he finally admitted it, she'll be like "I KNEW IT".
Its human nature to defend things you cling on so hard, even in the face of facts.
Look how they look at the game as if the developers said "okay we're going to plant this here, here, and here as easter eggs for indoctrination".
They are effectively saying the whole game was crafted around this concept, only for them to never reveal it in the story.
Its dillusional and sad to see that people are this dumb. Theres no need to be civil about it, this is a stupid idea, and it means they don't know anything about story, literature, gaming, or the development process.
