Things happen.

Whatever the Leviathan is, it's a prototype. A failure. What went wrong?

Prehaps the other reapers were unable to control the leviathan, To get it to follow their beliefs.

According to the catalyst it was forced.

I think that Leviathan want's the Reapers dead even if it dies. It wants the Reapers dead and Destroy well it's always been that for me and this only gives me more reason to kill all the Reapers, but if it's IT, then well......

Reapers are partially genetic. Any time you meld tech to new biology there is a chance for abnormal developments such as abnormal grows, rejection, etc.

Leviathan may have been resistant to the synthetic alterations that keep Reapers in line.

I'd expect you to say that, Estebanus and the others never truely believed in us. The IT isn't just an organisation or the people behind it. The IT is an idea, *Smokes a cigarette* .....that idea is not so easily destroyed.

Yes but he has lost all hope, but with Shepard we can get him to fight the Reapers, and maybe Leviathan sacrfices it's live to save Shepard depending on your chocies and ems.

Is this all about Priestly and his closing comment on that "Endings Still Suck" Thread?

Chris Priestly:

I answered this. There will be no more new endings. I used the "quotes"
as we consider the Extended Cut the ending, the finale, the stop
whatever you want to call it of the ending of Mass Effect 3. We do not
plan to make new endings, give more closure to the endings, adding or
subtracting to or from the endings, etc. We are done with the endings.

That said, we are working on some very cool downloadable story based
single player content. In these DLCs there will certainly be elements
that will effect the end of the game. As Mike Gamble already said,
depending on what you do in Leviathan there will be new dialog with the
Catalyst at the end of the game. These sorts of elements are definitely
possible for future DLC as well.

And for all those stating "Well if you don't X I am not going to buy
another game/DLC/etc from BioWare again". I'm sorry you feel thht way,
but I understand it. That is your ability as a consumer. If a company
(us, a burger joint, a shoe store, etc) does not live up to your
expectations, you go elsewhere. I get it and I do the same thing. I do
not fault anyone for feeling this way. Hopefully, the DLC we come up
with or a future BioWare title will make you want to give us another
try.

However, if you don't like it, feel free to leave. I'm sorry we have
disappointed you and as I said, we'll try to make better content or
games in the future that you will hopefully enjoy. No one if forced to
be here. You don't like it, feel free to take your business elsewhere
and stop trying to ruin the funn and enjoyment for those people who do
enjoy ME3 and the DLC.

Done now.

Just thought this should be reiterated, if you want to believe in IT you have to know that you will never get to "wake up" and it is only ever going to be a theory.

You know what's funny? These types of quotes from bioware are all to familiar. Like before the EC they said they wouldn't change the endings yet they added refuse. Yes that is a completely new ending and a completely new way for the cycle to end. Prior to ME3 coming out they also said the ending wouldn't be A, B, or C but it proved to be quite the contrary. I could go on but I think you get the point.

All I'm saying is take what they say with a grain of salt and keep an open mind. In the midst of developing things like this plans change constantly. They probably have no intention of continuing Shepard's story right now but that could all change in a month, a year, or 10 years. How likely that is to happen is not relevant. The point is they have made announcements just to prove them false at a later time. If they have done this before what's stopping them from doing it again?

I know Dam, but it's hard to see friends leave, and lose hope. But in the process we gained some new friends. I always have a feeling, that I will be the last one that will believe in IT, and one day it will come true, but as I said I have a feeling and that's it.

No, he merely is in a place many of us have been at some point or another.

A place of worry.

If he no longer chose to agree with the idea of IT he wouldn't be making his crazy visual novel.

Well I miss Otter, Balance, earthborn Shepard, Finger, and a lot of others, but I guess they don't believe in IT anymore. Well Otter went back to lucker mode, so he is still here, or maybe he isn't. All I know is that I feel like a gudam piolt trying to figure out which side is right.

What was interesting about the ABC comment?

They're the ones who said "There won't be an ABC ending" the fan asking the question never termed them as ABC endings.

They provided that term themselves. THEY labeled them as ABC.

I'll enjoy the ride. But I'm still not likely to buy any DLC, unless the endings get a different twist.

Stupid endings are still stupid.

I miss Balance and Ines too.

Finger, he's lost all hope and went to the other side, wallowing in his depression, spreading it around like nutella.

Otter, welp, if you're reading, come on back, we don't expect you to make huge discoveries, but we'd like to see you again.

Otter is just afraid of being banned but he still is a supporter and believer.

Oh, and I'm literally on a chill pill. Based on the intense "fist punching out" like pain in my right side and up my shoulder, the doctor believes that I may be suffering from gallstones and has me taking hydrocodone. I'm an extra happy chinchilla. Until they tell me that I need surgery. Then I'll start shooting lasers out of my eyes.
