In light of the recent discussions of being more discerning about proof, I'd say this is just good fun -- but it's still a little weird, indeed. If I was editing the vid, I'd put a shot of the Human Reaper Larva there or something, not a lil' chubby tike.

Yep. It's also worth noting that the kid, or at least the shuttle, is in every single ME3 trailer (other than the MP trailers, obviously).

For some reason I always think of the Revenant as FemShep's main gun, so I'm sure I'll be using it when I do a FemShep playthrough.
Has anyone come up with a good face code that looks like ME3 FemShep for ME1/2?

about indoctrinated / untrustworthy Geth:
I agree with DD's general idea of the right choice not being always Renegade or Paragon. That's how I played the whole series so I would agree with that. I did feel like letting the Geth remain was a big big risk - it was the morally right thing to do at the time, but was it the right thing to do in terms of the war? What if it divided the galaxy? What if another minature conflict ensued? Whether blame fell on bitter Geth or distrustful Quarians doesn't really matter. The wrong choice could have doomed tha galaxy.
DD's idea about the Geth and Legion being enemies is a really good idea. However it's a highly extreme idea. It happens in films and games that your close allies turn on you as a twist. But it has to be executed with serious skill, and normally there has to be a narrative reason as well. It is possible that saving the Geth is objectively the wrong choice, but imo we need a whole lot more evidence to actually go with this idea. (I know this was basically what DD was saying anyway). To turn around and say the Geth are enemies and not to be trusted would have a serious impact on the nbarrative content on of ME3. The message would basically be opposite to what we had learned so far. That is, ME had at least argued the possibility of value in sentient, synthetic life. To say that it's a product of Reaper tech and therefore bad goes against the narrative of the rest of the story. It would be a cheap cop out - "no machines can't be alive, the only reason they seem alive is because they have Reaper code which is bad, so you should kill them all".
I hope I didn't butcher my point too much. What I'm trying to say is that the value of synthetic life is given quite objective treatment in the series, and is handfled really well. If BW are saying "ah no it's just Reaper nonsense, they're tricking you into thinking they have rights", it's a very heavy one-sided way of ending that part of the narrative. They might be saying that, but I think they'd need to make it pretty clear in the story if that's what they are saying. So we'd probably need nothing less than some kind of reveal to confirm it.
About Omega, yes I think it will have some pretty serious clues about stuff, and yes I think it will be completely ignored by a significant chunk of the fanbase. (Tbh I think this is how Bioware likes it

Yes one big point of ME is it builds up prejudices in the player against factions, species, machines, etc and then smashes them (or smashing the alien when playing as renegade). This point is also very often overlooked.Davik Kang wrote...

Think:
Batarians
Krogan
Quarians
Volus
Geth
AI in general
and that are just the biggest ones. There are minor ones like young Asari = stripper.

Speculation is just that: speculation.
The fun part of speculation is that it can provoke thoughts or question things we always thought to be fact. That in itself is the entire premise of IT. Questioning what is being presented to us.
Sometimes for a new idea to be explored, a radical change of perspective is needed.
Now when I'm speculating, I'm not saying 'omg u guyz i figured it out11! accept my truth11!1', I'm just saying 'what if'.
Now I realize you can say 'what if' in front of any bizarre, out-of-the-blue statement you can think of, so I'm giving a few reasons for what provoked my line of thought.
There's no need to go yelling at me that I'm crazy. I'd rather just be reminded of some good stuff that debunks my idea.
Because the point of speculation is to develop a line of thinking that is consistent and hard to poke holes in.
So by all means, poke holes. I'm just trying to say there's no need to get all upset when people start brainstorming.
I mean, I could try and figure it out by myself and play ME2 again for the Legion stuff, or search videos for clues, and sometimes that's what I do before I bring something up.
Other times, this is just more fun.
You could say I'm crazy for coming up with this stuff, but at least we've been discussing the game for several frantic pages straight instead of just arguing with trolls or being off-topic.

BHWAHAHA.
And I didn't realize that, Banshee! But it makes sense, considering he IS the Final Boss.
And I've always wondered about his design. I guess he could pass for a younger version of default Sheploo, but obviously that's an inconsequential observation since his appearance doesn't change for anyone. I know this is a weird thing to want, but some extra background on that kid in-game -- if he exists or ever existed -- would rule. I want to have a reason to feel bad for him, other than Cute Little Kid syndrome. My maternal instinct only goes so far.
