Rose does that make Shepard um a um..... Let's just say Shepard could get in big trouble, if she was human.

I think the problem is that every time someone from Bioware says something publicly, people are going to proclaim the end of the IT. This gets some people here riled and then madness ensues when one of these proclaimers comes to this thread.

I don't understand why they come here. Seriously. I mean, not to compare IT to religion (I BELIEVE IN IT!!!), but it's like trying to go into a church to explain to the patrons all about evolution and why their religion is wrong. Which any sane person knows is pointless. Those people believe hardcore, and you should not bother them at their place of...speculatory worship. c.c

This is like, ITer sanctuary. And they come in here just to stir the sh*t. It's annoying. Is it really so hard to just NOT click on the IT thread? It bothers them that much that people still talk about it? It is -one- thread, albeit three versions. If IT really bothers them that much, why not make a bonafied ANTI-IT thread? Oh wait, mister unicorn already did that. But he still comes in here to try to make us "see sense."

Obvious troll is terribly, terribly, horribly obvious. =[

Okay...as you were. :bandit: I'll go back to lurking now. Until there's some speculating to do.... Not much of that today.

There is the Omega built by the Reapers thing I brought a couple days ago, but no one seems to care.:?

It looks like a giant transmitter. Like it was the leftovers of the Prothean version of the Crucible. Or a massive indoctrination device.

According to the codex, Asari don't start having kids until about 350 or so. Liara is only 109 or so (106 in ME1), so she's still a child herself, and says so in ME1 on Therum I believe. The equivalent of a 10 year old for humans.

Getting back to IT though. Whether Bioware confirms it or not, I will just go with it. Regardless of them admitting it or not, we've cobbled up enough evidence to say that it's very possible, evem without any official statement from Bioware stating "okay guys, it's true". I think that's what people actually want though, for Bioware to admit it. Otherwise, some believe it's not true unless Bioware says so.

If we are doing it on scale, Asari reach adulthood much more quickly than Humans (remember this is scaled down). Remember the Asari talking to the Salarian in next to the gun kiosk on Ilium? She says something about finally being able to leave home at the age of 60. Scaled down, that's about a five or six year old in human terms. I think Asari can enter the next stage of life more quickly or slowly depending on their lifestyle. Maiden's are still adults that are able to have children and so may enter the Matron stage eariler if they decide they want lots of children.

Seriously back on topic. I guess at the moment that all Bioware confirming or denying the IT would do is polarise the remaning fans and so for whatever reason, they don't want to take that risk just yet.

No they're being silly because Liara is an adult in both her culture and ours.

I reckon it was some one cycles crucible, not necessary prothean. But there is a reason why TIM wanted it.

Well actually it's not speculation it's a fact, it is stated in the Retribution novel.

You know what; I read over what Priestly said [about the endings being final] and maybe several months ago I would have given a crap and been up in arms. But now, I honestly just don't care.

I still believe Shepard is being indoctrinated; the evidence is there... I mean c'mon the whole Object Rho "we want Shepard alive/Your mind is mine" incident isn't enough?... but regardless I'm far more interested and intrigued by the contradictions and sinister plots that "Catalyst" sprouts out of his mouth.

His words alone are clear evidence that either 1). BioWare wanted us to dig deeper and explore the older games for evidence that contradicts it's claims (which are even more so abundant after the EC) or 2). they [BioWare] have the worst possible writers in the world. And considering I thoroughly felt that everything prior to the endings was fine, I'm more inclined to believe the first option.

Don't get me wrong, I love all that, but only if it means something. Only if I am going to see DLC or ME4 with shepard waking up.

If not, screw it. Not interested in wasting my life on something not confirmed to be canon or ever hinted at being canon for future games, we had alkl those discussions pre-ec and BioWare didn't deliver.

Are you still talking about Priestly's comment that contradicts itself and is in line with everything else they've said?!?

They are all being so depressing

yes... I understand how straining this all may be on some fans here, but what's been going on the past few hours is borderline annoying.
I'd like to not repeat swimming through drama and wallowing like the madness that was post EC, but I have a feeling this is going to happen with every sp dlc that Bioware announces until everything's said and done.

I think the problem is that every time someone from Bioware says something publicly, people are going to proclaim the end of the IT. This gets some people here riled and then madness ensues when one of these proclaimers comes to this thread.

The word play and semantics they pull so often also tends to go over people's heads. It's.. It's infuriating! Sometimes I feel like mostly no one learned from the EC or cares to thoroughly read what's been written. Like, I can't push this door open so it's obviously locked even though there's a pull sign here.

So maybe TIM went to omega because of admerial crap forgot his name is still there, along with the Cerberus fleets so maybe we can go recurit the admerial, and get Omega for Shepard not Aria, but for Shepard.Shepard has the king, or queen of Omega.

Might be upsetting, but Bioware stated the ending has multiple interpretations. There is no official way things ended. All opinions are valid.

A lot of the best writing through history has been sort of up to interpretation, and isn't completely spoon fed. Bioware gives us the back story (codex, and other things), but they wanted us to use our imagination to some degree.

Exactly, you can't just add a 0 to human ages to get Asari ones, otherwise it would take about 160 years for an Asari to mature. Regadless of how long they live, that'd be crazy. I'd say Liara's 17-22ish, and Tali's 15-20ish, but that's just my estimations.

The thing about that is confirming IT, other than being really lame to just announce it, and not put it in a DLC, is who would it ****** off? There are only ITers, people who like the ending, but only through that lens, and non-ITers, who lack that lens and just hate the ending. There's no one to ****** off, other than maybe the ones who are already pissed off.

Good god I hope not, at least not like earlier because I'd like to see people actually speculate what his post means for Omega dlc and future sp dlc with these elements from Leviathan (changing Catalyst's dialogue) likely to show up again. I really want to know what other story dlc they're planning now and I am terribly eager for some kind of leak or datamine to show up when Leviathan's released.

I like Aria so she can have it back for all I care, anyway Shepard may do renegade things some times (Mine that is) but she still does the right thing in the end and a Promise is a Promise.

If Bioware thinks what they are doing is good, then okay, but we fans are dying here, and want the truth. That's all. But hey at least the IT, andWNT are speculating like Bioware said to do, so that should count for something.

Also pm me if Estebanus comes back with news about what Chris said please. Since I feel like it's been years since I sat down and rest. And my eyes are getting heavy so.....

Agreed. We know it was made by Reapers, and we know Cerberus took it over for seemingly no reason. I want to know whyyyyyy Posted Image

Also, any ideas on those weird glowing bubble things in Leviathan, that are titled "Artifacts", are organic based, and can be shot?

There's a group of people who believe that the ending was written by Casey and Mac, and only them. However, they report to the heads of the company (Ray and Greg), and they probably looked over the ending. If there was something really wrong with it (sloppy writing), they probably would have asked them to change it.

Instead, Ray states in his blog that he is truly proud of what his team has achieved. He personally believes that Mass Effect 3 is some of their best work that they've ever done. Given the massive scope of IT, I'd say that pretty much fits it to a T. He may have confirmed it without actually saying "it's true". Kind of reading between the lines here.

I know that but people were acting like she's a child in human years, which is wrong.

Well your right Revan, but she acts childish sometimes.
