About the refuse ending has anyone heard this line during a playthrough? Because there are a few lines in the TLK file that, as far as I know, don't trigger right now.

"I won't decide based on some arbitrary decisions you've made." Almost at least. I think it was in the Levi files.

I don't know, I remember the extended cut had files labeled as test and in one of them the Catalyst asks Shepard for her own solution, it doesn't get any further than that though. It's probably just cut stuff.

Remember refuse was only added to let people refuse the brat, but if Destroy ending is breaking free of Indoctrination, and if you look at we came up with this before refuse, and Bioware if they planned IT, was using Destroy right.
That's probably one of the best anti-refuse quotes ever. Sacrifices will have to be made to destroy the Reapers. Trying to save everyone is why a lot of people chose Control or Synthesis, and it's the same reason some pick Refuse.
Whether we can actually win conventionally doesn't matter, because this isn't happening. It's a test of what Shepard wants to do and what he's willing to sacrifice.

Refuse is Paragon-stupid, it's what Batman would pick. It's trying to take a moral highground in a situation you shouldn't.
Besides, I summed this up earlier, Refuse has no place in LT or IT, only DT, and DT is retarded.

That's an idea I had for ME4. Add in Leviathan thralls and you have a whole game of questioning your every move, every ally. The feeling of paranoia would be incredible.
