One can hope. That's why this talk of the next DLC after Omega has gotten me excited. I genuinely think we're getting close to something important.

Well, the way its worded suggests either:

1/ You'll only suffer the same losses you suffered already this cycle.  Which would practically wipe out half the Galaxy.

2/ You'll suffer as much again as the Reapers have already inflicted overall.  So another Billion years of harvest.

3/ A massive lie and contradition, designed to emotionally manipulate Shepard.

I'll go with 3/ as the most likely.

Indeed.  How did that get through quality control?  Either that's a massive screwup, or its a deliberate mistake. 

Or its a foreshadowing of some kind.  Maybe that's Earth, and that Reaper isn't Sovereign but the new Reaper being created out of Humans?  Though that doesn't fit the context of that clip in the slightest.

Ignore that.  Rewatched, I didn't notice it being towed by Alliance vessels.  So let's go with massive screwup.

The action scene with the Krogan wasn't too bad, at least it had lots of blood-and-thunder excitement, even if it was rather cliched and OTT. But the animation here is so stilted. Their lips move while everything else stays stock still. Did they get some work-experience intern to animate all the exposition scenes or something?

If you search for "Rifneno" and "anime", you can verify that I consider anime right between cancer and racism on my popularity scale.  I did not expect this "movie" to be good.  I did not expect it to be decent.  I did not expect it to be watchable while sober.  But I did expect it to at least adhere to lore better than Dietz.

I just rewatched the Control ending linked in my sig. A thought occurred to me. The new Catalyst says that only now he understands the full extent of Shepard's sacrifice. That means he didn't understand it before and that implies he'd existed before Shepard chose Control. Taken even further, it might mean that Shepard was absorbed and incorporated into the OLD Catalyst's cognitive processes. But it also means he exerted great influence on the Catalyst. An influence that made the Reapers stop the harvest and embrace the notion that they, Organics and Synthetics can coexist..
