Come on Megumi. You have certainly been part of the IT community for long enough that you have earned my respect and attention even if you're arguing against IT. I'm all for you sticking around and keeping people honest in their speculations. I don't think you disagreeing should prevent you from continuing to participate, I for one, continue to be interested in your posts. Lately though, it seems like you're lashing out at the thread for not holding itself up to your standards, and you aren't even pretending to be polite about it. I don't even really completely disagree with what you're saying, but this is supposed to be fun too, and it's not like we've been provided enough information yet to conclusively say what happened with the ending. The off topic stuff isn't going away, and even though I have no interest in Swoby's song lyrics, others might, so who's to say it shouldn't be posted? So please Megumi, ease up on the negativity.
I get it. Although I think you miscalculated going after Swoby since her post was Mass Effect related. There's plenty of completely off topic stuff that would have been more appropriate to use as an example. I think it absolutely sucks when important things are missed, like the Thessia beacon, but there's also posts that are IT related that might be interesting to one person and boring to another. There is usually more than one conversation going on at once too. So it has to be about striking a balance between keeping the fun vibe that keeps people coming back, and not straying too far from the reason why the thread exists: discussing IT. But you have to admit though, things like the Thessia beacon that have been ignored/undiscovered are pretty few and far between at this point. I guess what I'm saying is if you feel you have valid points to make, then make them, just saying the tone of some of your recent posts sound pretty angry. At least pretend you still like us ;p
I really really don't want to keep doing this. Please, by all means, stay and keep challenging others ideas. The thread needs it. But please ease up on the negative. You have hurt some very nice peoples feelings with your insults and that really sucks Megumi. The buddhist thing is personal to me, and I hate seeing it's teachings misrepresented, and to be completely honest I was still mad about you defending estebanus and demeaning my contributions to nothing. What you said about that is just flat out untrue. Regardless, I would like to put this behind us. Just please tone it down some
