I am indeed not a troll anymore. Trolling gets boring after a while and I think having normal polite discussions can also be really fun. If you take offense by my slight jabs and pokes sometimes than all I can say is; too bad for you. I think a slight jab or poke from time to time is acceptable. I'm most certainly not as rude as some others are in this thread.

Once a troll....

A Troll is a state of mind. One can easily stop acting like one, and get a new state of mind. It's not something genetic.

"I know I murdered your whole family, but I"m in a totally different state of mind now, so it's cool"

...but not anymore. It's not as if trolling is something genetic or something. It's not a dicease either. :P I can start or stop with trolling whenever I want.

So I'm only a troll when I choose to be one. Since a few weeks ago I've chosen not to be one anymore.

I swear you guys, I can stop whenever I want!

I stopped smoking, so stopping with trolling shouldn't be that difficult in comparison.

Not bad. That's quite a feat. Respect!

And if you are suggesting we ignore past behavior and only focus on the now.....well then you are without doubt a troll as well

wow... anything said against IT is passive aggressive for you people. Hard to do something else.

I'd try to explain it to you, but seeings as you got pissy earlier over can't vs. cannot, I'm thinking this is a lost cause.

She never even adequately explained how can't and cannot are different. Being a grammar national socialist, I thought maybe there was some rule I was unfamiliar with, so I looked it up and found nothing. I still dont know what her point was.

One is definite, the other is not.
For example "I cannot do that" means you are not able to do something, regardless of circumstances or your will do to it.
"I can not do that" means you would be able to do something, but something else is causing you not to do it, for example morality.

I was unaware of that. Thanks!

I still think can't works as a contraction for either one, though.

Hey guys guess what EDI says.

EDI:I would risk functionality for him. And my core programming should reflect that.

Also look at what Joker tells Shepard after he talks with EDI.

Joker: But how can you do that to innocent people and tell yourself that you're helping humanity?

No, we've said this before: passive aggressive is exactly what you just wrote, being negative and insulting. IT doesn't have anything to do with it.

Exactly. I'm honestly getting really tired of Megumi's passive agressive crap. I generally like Megumi, but its really getting old.

And since I can't stand her, you can probably imagine how my tongue looks like a thresher maw's chew toy from all the biting of it I've done to try and save the thread from this crap going on now... but this ulcer says she's obviously not going to stop, so no harm in at least calling her on it.

You know what else sucks?  Falmer.  Snow elves, he said.  Guddamn darkspawn, I said.

Not sure about that, as it's the same with do not and don't. You should say cannot if that is really what you mean because else it can create confusion.

Any of you guys played Assassins Creed 3? I'm playing it on PC right now. So far it's quite awesome. it also has a brilliant plot-twist after the first quarter of the game. It really made my jaw drop on the floor, I was that much amazed!

How can you compare trolling to murder?

Murdering a person'ts entire family is horrible, and causes mental damage that can't be healed. Not only that, but in the US this person would get the death penalty. Comitting homicide is on of the most atrocious acts ever, and you compare that to trolling?!
Trolling is not a crime, and the most mental pain a person can sustain from that is to be aggravated. That can not be compared to homicide.

Yeah, thanks for comparing me to a serial killer. That's not rude or mean at all. :?

And yes, Haytham's plot twist was awesome.

The point is that "derp derp its just a state of mind it can change anytime" is just as utterly meaningless without context. That is NOT universally true. Sometimes people's past actions should be held against them. Like someone who trolls for month after month after month, then all of a sudden POOF state of mind has changed. Bull

Jep I meant the Haytham thing at the end of sequence 3. I kinda felt dirty and wrong after that plot twist. Did any of you have that feeling? I felt dirty, wrong and I even in some way felt used for playing as him for the first 5 hours or so of the game. I can't help but somehow feel responsible, if you know what I'm saying.

So, random off-topic note: elites with swords are bull****.

Especially camo ones.

Also, Vic is the RvB easter egg in this week's Spartan Ops!

I kinda liked it. It just goes to show that people like him aren't all bad. Plus, his accent was awesome.

Except I didn't troll month after month after month.

And trolling isn't even a state of mind, it's just something some people do. It's nothing more than just an activity. A quite harmless activity if you ask me.

Besides, I even apologized for my past trolling behavior. That was quite a while ago though, so I wouldn't be able to dig up my comment where I apologized for my past behavior. So you have to take my word on it, or ask one of the ITers who might remember that post.

Yes, instead of saying "hey good job, you stopped trolling" you just go "who cares if you stopped, I don't like you and will never change my mind about you" that's what we need more of.
