You know, if EA is really as money hungry as people claim, then IT would actually make a lot of sense. If the reveal costs money and people buy it, then they make even MORE money than they would with no reveal.

If a game extends the story weapons, armor, and ect past the ending, its an expansion pack.

And Broken Steel is officially referred to as an expansion pack, and so is the other four packs....they even are on a disc together.

For your information I am currently educating myself towards becoming a videogame designer, discussions like is beyond beeing interesting also fuel and ideas as to what i should and should not do when I finish my education.

You could say i consider this part of my studies along with the usual studies and a hobby of writing stories of my own which i maintain on the sidelines.

Yeah byne, but you have to admit that Omega is more wasted than used advantage to make ME3 better. As for me I still believe in IT but with time it's more wanting to believe than believing itself. What the other guy said is sick, but maybe he was one of the most believing ones, then turned out psycho while being disappointed.

I loved ME since the very beginning, but it being the biggest failure in gaming history is closing fast. What's disguisting is that the whole situation is caused by little detail like the ending. Way to go Bioware....so far.....

It's all starting to fall together now, isn't it? They saw how people were pissed off with Fallout 3 and saw that everyone was more than happy to fork over the money to buy the better ending and figured, we need to do that with this shiny new, beloved series we just picked up. Granted, they weren't going to do it in ME2, that would show their hand too soon. Do it with ME3, the supposed "end" of the series, and they will make gold because they KNOW people would buy it. Even if they pissed of a minority of their fanbase in the process, they will make bank on this thing. Throw in multiplayer to keep the masses busy while they slowly pull the curtain back...
