Thats not a could have, all that is TRUE, and is stated in Mass Effect 2.  He even asked how does he know they didn't change anything in his mind.  And TIM states how he wants Shepard to be who he was, because if they changed anything, it takes away from the man he is, and the reason he is needed

What you say can only say someone who isn't following the IT thread from the beginning.

And then the Star Child HAD to exist and couldn't be fake because in Leviathan, they say the Leviathan created the Star Child technology, and it betrayed them by using the Leviathan as the first harvest.

So that kind of kills the theory.....the AI does exist....and just not an hallucination...
