And then the Star Child HAD to exist and couldn't be fake because in Leviathan, they say the Leviathan created the Star Child technology, and it betrayed them by using the Leviathan as the first harvest.

So that kind of kills the theory.....the AI does exist....and just not an hallucination...

With Leviathan bioware is backing its ending...

You guys are bytches its so funny, you guys still don't see it

The leviathans say they created an AI that controls the reapers

A sparkly thing says it controls the reapers

One or both could be lying and it's pure assumption that they're the same think if not.

Leviathan DLC proves this theory wrong, I just finished it, I've been playing it since I been in here, and was waiting for this BIG party, it was boring up until the ending sea dive first person flaring shyt....

I almost thought you guys had a point as the Leviathan started to talk, but then everything he said proved the literalist right....

The Star Child wasn't an illusion, he actually existed......they are adding story to flesh out the ending......they are actively taking up for their ending.

So I know now 100% you guys are just little bytches who got no life and are wrong

LMFAO HAHAHAH YOU GUYS ARE BYTCHESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Lets just ignore the fact that the entire scene where you talk to Leviathan is almost exactly the same as the way you talk to Godchild, right?

You are given these other creatures Human qualities....humans have reason to lie, we have short lives, our consequences for mistakes and failure plays out fast.

These beings who been alive for 2034823482048304230 years have no reason to lie or to mislead, especially when they are more powerful than you....

I am right

Every time we prove yall wrong you just say "well they could have been lying"

Its a game, not real life, if they were lying, the game would have revealed this lie, if the game didn't then the lie doesn't exist...

Because Bioware is trying to PROVE A POINT, they are trying to explain things that weren't previously explained.

They are trying to make up for the bad ending with DLC that fleshes the lore a little more.

You guys are looking at stuff in a dumb way.  And that scene is nothing like the Star Child scene......actually what the Leviatian says made me appreciate the ending a little bit more, and made me wish this part was already in the game.

Just keep reporting. A moderator will wake up eventually.

Got to say, I'm a bit miffed at one mistake I've seen in Omega so far. Aria firing a pistol, when she doesn't have one. Considering the context, you'd think they'd have used the SMG she'd got - I mean she uses the correct Shotgun in the very same scene!

To paraphrase an old saying:

Arguing with EXMEFan is like playing chess with a pigeon. It'll knock over the pieces, crap on the board, and fly back to it's flock to claim victory.

What bugged me most in Omega was Aria being all secretive on the Citadel, saying theres too many eyes and ears in Purgatory, and then randomly talking about her plans on Omega right next to a camera. I figured she knew it was there and was luring Petrovsky into a trap or something, but no, she was just stupid.

History has a way of repeating iself, it seems. It's only the people that take part in repeating that history who change over time.

Was that originally referring to Wald?  Ah, that brings back memories... that I'd really rather not have brought back.  Why, Byne?  WHY?!

The IT didn't START here, it started with a guy on YOUTUBE........and it spread...you guys think you introduced this theory?

And the DLC's are basically vouching for the ending......saying the Star Child does exist, and tells you who created it, and why...

That simply proves that you know nothing about how the IT started. If you think it was acavyos, then you're sorely mistaken. It didn't start on Youtube, it started with Byne on the BSN.
If you have to go around and tell people how stupid they are, then you should make sure not to look stupid in the process.

To be fair, the original quote refers to creationists, but I think I used it on Waldstr once now that you mention it.

I love how some people think if you keep repeating a lie, it'll magically become the truth.

Keep trying, champ. The only person you're fooling is yourself.

Ah yes, good old Waldstr... I still remember him from the MK I thread, along with GBGriffin. At least Griffin was smart. Waldstr was just downright laughable.

Griffin, Epyon, and Hagar, the only three non-ITists to ever earn a honorary place in this thread.  I don't count you and Megumi since both of you started as ITists.

Edit: Top.

So, doing Omega on my renegade character now to see how it differs as renegade.

I think I could like the renegade scars if they didnt also make your face dirty. All I can think when playing my renegade character is "Take a shower, woman!"
