You know, you can't win from a 10 year old Byne.

They just keep on screaming, 'I'm right nananananana'

To paraphrase an old saying:

Arguing with EXMEFan is like playing chess with a pigeon. It'll knock over the pieces, crap on the board, and fly back to it's flock to claim victory.

Was that originally referring to Wald?  Ah, that brings back memories... that I'd really rather not have brought back.  Why, Byne?  WHY?!

Ah yes, good old Waldstr... I still remember him from the MK I thread, along with GBGriffin. At least Griffin was smart. Waldstr was just downright laughable.

Nah man, he had two hot girlfriends remember? That made him better than us. ;)

Ah yes his "two hot girlfriends," the supposed rare group of women allegedly willing to have sex with him.  Oh we have dismissed that claim.

Yeah, how could I have forgotten that? That totally made him so much better than everybody else! We were all so incredibly powerless against his swag! He almost destroyed the IT with his awesomeness of having two girlfriends!

Griffin, Epyon, and Hagar, the only three non-ITists to ever earn a honorary place in this thread.  I don't count you and Megumi since both of you started as ITists.

Edit: Top.

... I miss Hagar:crying:

I think I was the one who talked to her first when she started to criticise the IT.

I'm pretty sure he used one of his girlfriends to sing an anti-IT song with him and upload it to youtube.

Also, I think I deserve some credit for being the most amazing troll back in the days. I think I was pretty good at trolling.

Pretty much this. I can only love one person at a time.

What bugs did you encounter in Omega ?
I had characters sliding into position in cutscenes and AI bugs in pretty much every fight with Rampart Mechs (being stuck, not moving, not responding to attacks).
In the first mission, I had to run around and search for a stuck Mech.
Also, imo the Mechs moved way too human.

Nyreen should've worn her hood thing the whole time. Looked way cooler than her armor in my opinion.

You know, if EA is really as money hungry as people claim, then IT would actually make a lot of sense. If the reveal costs money and people buy it, then they make even MORE money than they would with no reveal.

It's all starting to fall together now, isn't it? They saw how people were pissed off with Fallout 3 and saw that everyone was more than happy to fork over the money to buy the better ending and figured, we need to do that with this shiny new, beloved series we just picked up. Granted, they weren't going to do it in ME2, that would show their hand too soon. Do it with ME3, the supposed "end" of the series, and they will make gold because they KNOW people would buy it. Even if they pissed of a minority of their fanbase in the process, they will make bank on this thing. Throw in multiplayer to keep the masses busy while they slowly pull the curtain back...

Most devs and even publishers (yes even EA) aren't THIS evil, but yes, if this was the plan then that sort of thing would probably be on their minds imo

biggest problem with this theory, the time table for DLC is way too long. Adding pure empty garbage in the middle of your reveal like omega is counter productive to your popularity. If they planned these DLC to lead to the ending, thats some of the poorest marketing ever done, even beats nintendo and wii-u.  At the rate they are going if your theory was correct, there would be no one to even care about that golden ending after they stopped playing them half way due to how poor they are. The timing is way too long, even now im pretty sure not even 25% of the original mass effect 3 purchaser even gets those DLC.

So, doing Omega on my renegade character now to see how it differs as renegade.

I think I could like the renegade scars if they didnt also make your face dirty. All I can think when playing my renegade character is "Take a shower, woman!"

I think those scars look badass on my Shepard. It's almost as if those scars would inspire fear in the heart of her enemies by just looking at them.

Omega is a pretty bland and boring DLC. Good pew-pew parts. That's about it. A lot of pew-pew, no background story, no awesome plot reveals, no plot-twists, nothing important in the grand scheme of things. The theme of the DLC is taking back Omega and that is exactly what you do. It's all there is to it. You take back Omega and you're done. That's it.

In the IT sense there is a thematic thing going on that guns and fire is what will be needed against the oppressors, not joining them.

And little lines around the place SEEM to say that, well imo, Omega is the 'smoke gun' being fired for the IT 'race', and DLC after this will actually involve much more emphasis on plot revelations.

But really, I'm holding my breath. At least Leviathan was an infusion of energy for IT - Omega is more the IV drip, barely enough to hold on ;)

Anyone else notice what Omega looks like in the schematics in Aria's bunker?

A brain, complete with spine. There are even tunnels through the rock that look like arteries.

A giant brain.
